So, as they say smoking brings out your creative side. I didn't actually realise how creative I could be till I started cooking some stuff up so I thought I would share with you a couple of my quick, easy, tasty yet still healthy and low fat recipes. Any recipes you guys have, add em in here, would love to hear them Enjoy! Infusions quick take-away style Chicken Curry : You will need : Chopping Board Frying Pan/Skillit Splash of sunflower oil 400g chicken breast 1 tablespoon Cumin 1 Red Chilli & 1 Green Chilli (Or 2 Tablespoons chilli powder) 1 Tablespoon Garam Masala 1 Tablespoon Paprika 1 Tablespoon Turmeric 2 Cloves of Garlic 1 Chicken stock cube 1 Tablespoon of Plain Flour or Cornstarch/Cornflour 200g Rice Recipe : 1. Chop up your chicken breast in to bite size pieces 2. Chop up your chillis (Skip this part if you are using powder) 3. Put Garam Masala, Paprika, Turmeric and Cumin in to a bowl. Add a VERY small splash (5-10ml) water and mix into a thick paste. Remember, you can always add more water but you can't take it away so make sure you start off with a little water. 4. Heat your oil in your pan, once it is hot enough add in your chillis, reduce heat slighty and fry chillis for 1-2 mins. Then crush 1 clove of garlic over them and keep frying for a further minute. 5. Increase heat and add chicken breast and other clove of crushed garlic fry for 5-6 mins until chicken is totally white and no pink can be seen. 6. Pour 250ml chicken stock in to pan with chicken and chillis 7. Add your paste that you made earlier 8. Stir, reducing heat until the mixture is simmering. Leave this simmering for at least 15 minutes. At this time, add a small pinch of salt for flavour. 9. Make your rice 10. With 2-3 mins left of cooking on your curry, add in 1/2 tablespoon of corn starch or plain flour and stir VERY quickly and vigourously (so as the mixture doesn't go lumpy) It is easier to use a fork to stir at this time. And there you go! Serve it up and enjoy. Tastes just like takeaway, honest Infusions soup pot : You will need : 1 Large soup pan 3 Chicken or Vegetable stock cubes 4 Carrots, peeled 1/2 a leek 3 stocks celery 1 Red Chilli and 1 Green Chilli Small splash of vegetable oil 150g Pasta spirals Recipe : 1. Chop up all your vegetables and throw em in your soup pot 2. add a little sunflower oil and put on full heat 3. Heat vegetables in oil for 2-3 mins 4. Add 1.5L of boiling water and your 3 stock cubes 5. Add your pasta 6. Bring mixture to a boil. 7. Reduce heat and add some salt 8. Simmer for 45 mins-1 hour. And thats it, this tastes awesome!
