    moving to Colorado.
    I think u can buy with proper docs before u get ur card, since it takes months to get the actual card.

    I was just wondering about time: ID, doc then meds...

    Depends on the state. In California at least, you can walk out of the doctor's office with your recommendation and go purchase some in as little as 2 minutes, since there are often dispensaries located right next to evaluation centers.

    I don't know why you can't with a little pre planning. Get to DMV early with no BS ID documents. Have enuf cash with you. From there see the doc and then head over to the local bud purveyor. If you only make the first 2 out of three don't sweat it. Sometimes we have to pay our dues so to speak before we score our first time. Where I live we don't have dispensaries. You're expected to grow your own. One is allowed 15 plants and/or 26 ounces of smoke.
