does quick fix still work?

All I'm saying is the only way to really find out is to take that calculative risk and the leap of faith. I had to do it last Wednesday and I'm waiting for my results now. Do your research, risk analysis and make your decision.

I've written many posts on dilution and substitution, have a read. Look up mixing a bit of your urine with synthetic urine because apparently they check for foam and smell to validate at some places.

I just used Quick Fix Plus 3oz synthetic. (with the uratic acid balls in the vial) Last Week. Batch Canada P11P-10. It worked perfectly at quest diagnostics. Split sample. This was for pre-employment drug screen at a very large company in the northwest. I passed no problem. I used quick fix in 2005 and 2006 also and had no trouble. Happy smoking!!!

I got tested last week on Wednesday as a result of random DOT test. Its Thursday the following week, so just over a week and I haven't heard anything. The lady said I would hear within 3 days if it was a positive result and they wouldn't call me if I passed. So I'm assuming I passed since its been 6 working days now. I used a Canadian batch of Quick Fix 5.7 with vials of Uric Acid.

hey, Im a new member but I thought I would help out. I have used quick fix about 6 times all before 2009. I got layed off and started looking for work and found a job but I had to pass a drug screen. Went to the same place I always have got it before, and i did everything rite with the temp and everything else and I failed at the Portland legacy lab. I was shocked till I started to google if this stuff still works and turns out that almost every drug forum had at least a few people that had used it time and time again failed their last test. And a lot of people in Portland that I know are saying that some labs it passes but at the Legacy labs are almost all fails. I wish I was wrong, After three interviews and pretty much talking about how rad my new job was I looked like a munson. Good luck to everybody.

The bottom line is probably yes it works in most cases, but be aware that PACLABS in the PNW is looking out for this stuff. Have a back up plan! Have a back up plan! Have a back up plan!

I just took the 6633N SAP 10-50 gc/ms the other day and used QF Plus 5.7 batch ID P12R-10. I'll post back and let everyone know if it still works or not. Like rastaman said, the only way you'll find out is to take that leap of faith.

What jojo said - is the uric acid really necessary? I think I got the wrong stuff from QF cause I got the US version. But I live in MI, which is midwest and not PNW where the problems seem to be.

It's been a little over a week and I haven't heard from the MRO. No news is good news

I'll post again at the end of next week, that is unless I hear anything before then.

There has been a recall on some of the QuickFix products... A simple way to check is to look at the instruction page on the top corner for the batch number, if it ends with a 7 or lower YOU MAY NOT PASS.
There's been issues with fake products, so make sure its official and only purchase directly from the manufacturer.

Just wanted to let everyone know I passed. FYI, I contacted Quest and results are provided to the requestor (such as your employer) within 24 to 48 hours starting the day AFTER you provide your sample. My guess is a GC/MS secondary test might take longer, but if you have a bad batch of synthetic then it will most likely show up on the initial validity test and be reported back as invalid within the above mentioned 24-48 hour window. From what I've read on a number of posts (by the way, BurntToast and KillerWeed420 are life savers), the GC/MS test is only administered if a positive result is returned from the initial test. This appears to be correct by the fact my results were provided to the company that requested the test on the 2nd business day after I provided the sample. Unfortunately, I was not notified they had received the results until a couple of days ago, so I had an additional week of worrying for nothing.

So as a wrap up, if you take the standard 6633n SAP 10-50 GC/MS at Quest and sub with a synthetic sample, you can expect the results back in less than 3 business days.

My test was administered in the south central area of the US and I did NOT use any uric acid additives.

I hope this information will be useful for others.

I just want everyone to know that I used QuickFix Plus batch # P9M-10 and I passed the test.

You just need to make sure to follow the instructions and make sure the temp is on target. I did not have to add anything, just nuked it, strapped it and dropped it...

Anyways I'm from Portland too and I'm having my urine test done tomorrow, I'm a full on stoner so I know I wont pass it so I bought some quick fix, its a canada batch that doesn't end in 7 or minus and it has the little acid stones you add to the pee, my test is for life insurance and they are coming to my house to do the test, I'm so anxious about this hole thing cuz it's my first drug test ever! I'm assuming they will let me pee privately, anyways I'll let you guys know if I pass it or not!

Hey guys, I'm potentially getting tested soon (next week sometime) and have been a pretty much daily smoker for the last 6 months or so and a regular smoker for about 2 years. I've read this thread (and many many others) and it seems to be the consensus that Quick Fix with the uric acid vials (or pellets or whatever they are) seems to work for most labs. I'm going to be working for a car company working on cars, so I doubt that they'll do anything too heavy in terms of testing, so I should be good with Quick Fix and the uric acid, but my question is, where do you get the uric acid vials? Do they come with the Quick Fix, or do you have to buy them yourself?
I was also thinking about diluting at the same time and have been exercising like crazy so that I can lose all the fat on my body before the test and hopefully replace it with new, thc free fat after I'm done. Does that sound reasonable, or is that a stupid thing to do?

I'm gonna have to check the batch numbers on my QF and make sure I got a good batch.

I've seen some hellacious good info here. The first time I have to test I plan on using my QF. The best place I've found to buy 'smoke and pass' kits is what passes for 'Head' shops where they have incense, pipes, cigs, T-shirts and the like. Home testing kits are at places like K-Mart, Rite-Aid and larger OTC drug stores.

Hey guys, been lurking here for a few days and I think I am ready to go ahead and get myself QuickFix. The only thing is it seems there are plenty of distributers of the product but I don't know if these third-party distributors can be trusted. I can't seem to find the product on Spectrum Labs website. I would like to order direct from the manufactor. Anyone have any recomendations as far as where to buy it in confidence or a link to the product from the manufacture? Thanks!

I just failed a Urinalysis in Portland, Oregon with Quick Fix Plus version 5.7. Took the test on Wednesday June 1st. (6/1/2011) Got results on Friday (6/3/2011)

The lab I went to was called Concentra. I took the drug test as a pre-screening for a really good job.

I was told that I had failed the drug screen for lack of uric acid, and was informed that they (Concentra) were suspicious that I had submitted synthetic urine. They recommended to the employer that I submit another sample, except this time somebody would watch me pee.

Since I knew I would piss dirty I declined to pee again, and thus did not get the job.

Apparantly Quick Fix Plus does not contain uric acid!

However...... I am told that there is a canadian version of the same product that comes with uric acid, and found that it can be ordered from the yourinluck website.

Im wondering if anybody else has come across the same problem as me?

Also wondering if anybody has used Canadian quick fix with uric acid included in Oregon, and if so, does it work?

If anybody has any questions, let me know, Im still unemployed and will be here.

I used an American version of quickfix this week (06/09/11) in northern Wisconsin, no vile, no acid, just the urine, and passed my dt without any trouble besides all my needless worrying. I now have a pretty good job without conforming to the man.
