I got an award for this one in 2007. Being Dad, Who was to know that being a dad would be so hard and sometimes sad. Lot's of lessions that must be learned,trust and respect that must be earned, lot's of leaves must be turned. Being an only dad I have learned,that no one can raise their hand and expect one to understand,what is accepted, and won't be rejected, by a world or sorrow when there is alway's tomorrow. Show them that you really care. And without fail alway's be there,and soon they learn that life's not fair. But they'll feel safe and sound knowing their dad is around. If they learn that,I can't be mad. Know it's not easy (being a Dad.)
Thrash man that was an awesome piece of writing. You have a good way of expressing yourself in what you write. "Any man can be a father, it really takes someone special to be a Dad."
