   I'm considering growing my first plant but there no sockets near the cuboard I plan to use, are there any lights that run off batterys or a generator? Any good ideas would be helpful

   Using batteries or a generator for a cupboard grow would be more heartache than it's worth. Perhaps find a flat extension cord and run that up to the cupboard. You can notch out the bottom of the door where it goes in to get a good seal.
