Stoner Buck$$: 33.92 | One of the great pro-cannabis writings I've read.. It's like a dietary supplement. "Take two tokes in the morning, afternoon, and before bed to feel generally great the whole day. Side effects may include extreme creativity, talking too much, and causing laughter in others due to your blood-red eyes.
"
I understand if people have dabbled with smoking weed but quit because it's not their thing, but what kind of burns me is when people (like anyone who has ever written an anti-420 commercial) crusade against pot smoking, but have never even done it themselves.
Shit, if I used logic that flawed, I could be a politician (oh, wait...). Another good one is assholes who immediately think of you as 1 / 3 of a human being for taking a few puffs of ganja. Sorry motherfucker, but I have to get to my dopamine somehow, and smoking weed is better than fucking your girlfriend. Instead of having a terrible day and just having to sleep on it, why not come home after a terrible day and smoke one bowl, then feel euphoric for the rest of your night? Shit, if that means a few dings to my lungs or being a little giggly, what the fuck is the price there? If getting to smoke pot freely meant living 'til I'm 50, then you can bet you know what my answer is. Also, anyone who believes that smoking the potweeds makes you dumber (which is why 75% of you probably think I'm a dumbass now, based solely on the fact I wrote this much about weed), you're half-right. It makes you dumber if you misuse it.
Those whose minds are actually permanently damaged by cannabis use are those who smoke it far too much, in far too great of quantities (see "most hip hop songs"). Let's look at the term "Blunt". Yeah, blunts are good if you want to get super fucked up, but you don't need that. You only need a few hits. Pound for pound, smoking an average 0.15 gram bowl from a pipe / bong is far more effective and far less taxing on the respiratory system than smoking three blunts (the average size being 1.5 grams, 10x as much as my recommended dose) in two hours because you're "just that G". The only high you'll get from that you'll feel as you're glued to the couch, unable to move.
As long as you use a small but effective amount and maximize the amount of THC you take in, pot smoking will do nothing but make your life better -- without the negative effects that most of the world has stereotyped onto this drug supplement.
You know that dopamine kick you get rushed to your brain when you get that first kiss from that cute girl, beat someone's ass, or find a $20 on the ground? My question is, why don't you want to have that whenever you want? Good moods might as well grow in the ground. I can't count how many times I've had a shitty night thinking about something depressing, and then turned that into an ear-to-ear smile within 15 minutes. Guess how. Hell, it even makes my writing better. All of the poetry and rhymes I've written, not to mention all the essays for the school, have been products of THC and the creative mind working together. There's so much more I need to talk about, but I have a feeling far too many people's opinions of me have been ruined (whilst ignoring everything I've said here).
--------I did not write this, a friend of mine did, but I love it. Enjoy. |

"Shit, if that means a few dings to my lungs or being a little giggly, what the fuck is the price there? If getting to smoke pot freely meant living 'til I'm 50, then you can bet you know what my answer is."
^^I feel the same way about living life fast & to the fullest... "I'd rather die young than die old and broke // that's why I stay drunk and I constantly smoke" ~the late Tupac Shakur... But the thing is, I'm not so sure just smoking weed can kill you at 50... At least, not in the way cigarettes & aspirin can because smoking weed does not cause lung cancer: Study Finds No Cancer-Marijuana Connection - washingtonpost.com and surprisingly it was even reported by Fox news: FOXNews.com - Marijuana Does Not Raise Lung Cancer Risk - Health News | Current Health News | Medical News
I mean, has anyone out there read a single legitimate scientific study that indicates that the negative health effects of just smoking weed can lead to an early death?
PS where in cali you from dog? |

Thanks for the post, I enjoyed it
It says it all so well, maybe there's just not much to add.
Like the perfect painting... you have to know when to leave it alone.

And yeah I saw your point, I was pointing out that shit just cuz i think it highlights the ridiculousness of the fact that something as harmless as marijuana is illegal while alcohol, tobacco, aspirin, etc. are perfectly legal |

Stoner Buck$$: 280.73 | Re: One of the great pro-cannabis writings I've read.. Goddamn I love you guys! This is totally irrelevant (or maybe partially relevant), but whenever I meet peeps who are down with the herb, there's a certain good vibe that comes from them. I don't get that with most other groups/people (except the Dalai Lama! That man is incredible, I saw him speak a couple years back and he is like the physical incarnation of contentment and joy). So now to make this relevant, life would be so much worse without the bud. |

Damn that is alotttta weed. I could never smoke that much...or afford that much haha.
Of course, you could just be meaning a half gram a day, which is clearly far more reasonable...but then again for some, like my friend Leon, that's nowhere near enough.
Hmm...

A blunt after the test to celebrate the A that i got.....Pot just makes everything more enjoyable.
