Good Times.
Ask him how the bill him and Eddy Lepp proposed in California to decriminalize and release innocent pot smokers from jail is coming along. What steps are left for it to take?

Should ask him about a crazy time he's had involving marijuana. Should be interesting to hear some stories from an older grower. |

I would ask him if he believes pot will ever be legalized
(on a federal level) in America. Why? and if so how soon?

why has Jack only situated the fight for pro cannabis in america and canada wh ile the reat of the world could do with the knowledge he has released.
making people aware of the benifits of the great herb world wide would be more beneficial than just keeping the protest in your own back yard.
I love Jack and what he has done and who can deny the fact that it is still one of the best smokes in the world.
I knw what your thinking Tokin ,Jack goes to holland alot and is very active in the cannabis cup but that dnt mean shit its about time all these pro speakers got together and sung from the same hym sheet
Even Howard MARKS TAKES THE FIGHT WORLD WIDE.

please keep in mind i am not trying to "nail" him, im not looking for those tough questions that will make him question his work.
are you saying that his book is not available in countries throughout the world¿ because i kind of doubt that it would be hard to come by, except in countries that keep strict regulations on what print is allowed and what isnt.
if youd like MY answer to why he stays in his neck of the woods...well, there is plenty that still needs to be done there. maybe he would prefer to see change start at home, and then spread out to the rest of the state/country/continent/world.
i will bring up that more people overseas would like to hear from him in person. but then, you do also have to understand, he isnt a young buck all fit to be running around the world.
howard marks is another great figurehead of our times, but my interview is not with howard marks, so it doesnt really matter where he takes the fight.

Jack Herer is a very active man, who had a stroke years ago. It makes it difficult for him to talk and also difficult for him to travel at all. Its amazing he does what he does, and i am really interested on the steps the CALI legisation they introduced is doing.
Tokin nailed it right on the head, this man is using what he can in the immediate area around him. There is alot of work to do where he and others are at, no matter where in the world you are.
Instead of questioning why JH doesnt come visit, why dont you make yourself a name, and start where you are at.
You can do it, anyone can. it just takes an educated voice.
Thanks Tokin for nailing this interview, it should be a good time to hear what this wonderful man has to say.
And the Emporer Wears no CLothes is a great explanation of how Hemp and other great things can be capitalized on.

wot can i say
SSDD yes we do get books in England but what i was saying is wouldnt it be more benificeil to everyone not just the LAND OF THE FREE if jack and like minded people brought to the attention of everyone worldwide.
not everyone reads books or are simply not aware who Jack herer is or wot he has done.
So i knw we could ask him usless questions like what did he have for breakfast or the fact that he grew some great strain and named it after himself wot a waste of his and your fucking time.
when is the true smoker going to evolve from the ostrich, pick its head out of the sand and stand united.
GEE i love to rant

No John i wasnt aware that JH had a stroke and Tokin i do think you are doing a great job nailing the interview but as i was saying lets not waste his time with pointless kiddie questions i would personally like to here more about the work he did with poeple suffering from cancer(thc oils) plus the info that he gathered from the tests.

i think both Tokin and Myself are doing some great things, at least as much as we can do with what we have. I assume its the same for Jack, and Marc Emery, and the guys at The DopeFiend Network.
There are many people SHOUTING at the top of their lungs how crazy our laws are worldwide. I cover as much stuff as i feel is relevant the week and/or weeks leading up to a produced JDR podcast. It just so happens the people who are listening are mostly form the land of the Free. I also have advertised in Cannabis Culture, a Canadian Mag, and talked with numerous officials about "The War on Drugs".
Soon you will see Tokin doing the same on a level that he feels is relevant. You can lead or you can follow, and as long as you are being productive, doing both in cooperation, are one in the same.
I also cant speak for Jack or other people.
One way to put it might be to ask, "What efforts have you participated in on the worldwide level?"
Its fair, and it also pats him on the back for accomplishing things here in America, by insenuating that he has already cleared the American National level.
Sometimes there are small battles to be fought in your own front yard, and only when you have defeated those, does it seem necessary and relevant to go fight shoulder to shoulder with your neighbors.
But some people also feel the need to sacrifice everything they have for the greater good of the cause. And take it as far as they can, like i feel Jack Herer is doing and has done, and what Marc Emery has done and will continue to do. im sure if Mr. Herer were in better health he would be doing alot more traveling. I seem to remeber Paul Stanford, who runs THCF ckinics in med states, knew Jack Herer and mentioned on an interview with me aearly in JDR that Mr. Herer would like to travel more, but is unable. Id have to look back, but its also more to possibly add to the convo.
"How have you progressed in your thinking about marijuana. Meaning have you always wanted to get political and introduce legislation to legalize? And how have your health experiences affected your thoughts on med marijuana?"
I dont want to threadjack this place in any way and i think Tokin appreciates the questions coming in. Tokin' yo. My stuff can be deleted if you feel im steppin on your toes. Id never want to do that. Sometimes i get over excited.
im stoked for Jack Herer coming to our comp screens.
BTW OLDBOY - Nice one on the THC oils and stuff. He does know about that goodness i think.
