im using a gig of ram which the game is designed for
im not sure what to do to fix this, i heard they were doing updates on it so it was being weird but my buddy said his was working fine.. when i have steam open its just a bunch of blank windows really.

Can you see any icons or anything? Maybe post a screenshot of what you see..
If it's blank text, which is a common problem, it means that you're missing some fonts in your windows font folder that steam uses.

I played counter-strike since 7th grade man, I'm now 20, I am a fiend for Counter-Strike, for REAL.
BUT...as of late, my computer is sucking some nuts and for some reason CS will NOT work. It's been like 9 months now, and I can not get over not being able to play cs. I have done everything imaginable, had every computer nerd dude I know come look at it...nothing. I'm so pissed hahaha I LOVE tokin' and playing that game.
I am so pissed, I would be SO down to hit up some cs right now.   | |
