So I heard that vaping at different temps affects the high itself. Just like there are indica or sativa strains, I wanted to know if there were more euphoric highs or body highs, or head highs depending on the temperature that you vape at.
I think it went that the higher that you vape at before combustion, you maximize the "medicine" of pain relief from the herb... just wondering what the facts are and what the rest of you heard.
I have a DBV and wanted to know the level and location of where I should keep it to vape the most I can from da'weed THX

if you have a buddha, then start playing with the temp and find out what works best for you.
what you are asking is just like somebody with their first car asking how much gas they should give the car when driving it.
some people like to haul ass around town, other people like to chill and cruise.
you never know what is best for yuo until you try it for yourself.

As long as it doesn't turn to smoke, I'm ok.

If you had a HOTBOX vaporizer - you wouldnt have to worry about " DO I HAVE IT ON THE WRONG TEMP OMG?" - you could just put your weed in the bowl and suck and BAM baby it works!!! fuck yea! why didnt you just buy the good vaporizer first?
PUT THE HEAT ON FULL BLAST - the faster you suck, the better the vape will be, the slower you suck, the more smoke youll get, its a fucking simple idea with simple mathematics - if its really hot, and you suck really fast, it wont be as hot but will still pull enough over the bud to break down the thc to its boiliing point and give u the hit u want ----

maybe when you have tried a vaporizer with a temperature control you will have some idea about what this thread is about. until then, it is completely out of your grasp, as the hotbox has no variable heat settings.

agreed
I got a SSV and love the temp control. The MAIN reason I like it is so I can vape my weed and hash at the diffrent temps that they need.
I would NEVER go to a vape without a temp control !!!!

Honestly, I started with 3 o'clock with my DBV but I've since decided I prefer it around 12:30. Just make sure you're letting your DBV get to the temp you've selected before moving onto another. It's fast, not instant. Patience is a virtue. Posted via Mobile Device | |

If we think logically about this it will become apparent that one wants to start at the lower temp range (300 deg F) to vaporize the most volatile of the essential oils without destroying them. Then one wants to slowly take the temp up (to 360 to 380 deg F) to release the essential oils that vaporize at the higher temp range. Once the taste of burnt popcorn is apparent, most of the extractable THC has been released.
Theoretically this scheme should allow the most effective extraction of resin with the least amount of waste.
