i have indeed, but never all at once in the same room.

after everything was said and done with the vapeoff, everybody agreed that one of the contenders today seriously lacked in performance. itll be a day or two to get the video up, have to learn myself some simple video editing stuffs and you can see firsthand what went down today.

I hope DB didn't suck.

i most definitely would not say any of the three units can possibly(when in proper working condition) come close to sucking. my days have been slightly more busy than i have anticipated, so i havent gotten around to editing the footage yet, but rest assured, i WILL get this vid up as soon as i can.

about the results, was there a clear winner.....¿
perhaps. perhaps indeed. all things considered, i may have to do a more intense showdown between the top two to clearly be able to say what i think is the best.

well, yes. without a doubt. there was one that, when in the same room with either of the other 2, would just get passed over, time and time again.

I hate to be presumptuous, but I'm guessing DB trailed far the others. Which I fully understand seeing as how it's the cheapest. But man, you're making it sound like it's not even worth owning.

I would more than likely put money that he's talking about the volcano being the one getting passed up.

I sold my Volcano and keep the SSV

SSV rules over all other Vapes I have had or used

i put the money on the DB and Surfer. But id still kill for a volcano sometimes. but my pockets thank me for the surfer.

ok, well, its taking a little longer than i expected to get the video editing software and whatnot, so ill go ahead and give a quick text account of the event


the volcano held up about as well as any seasoned vaper would guess it would....faced with the stiff competition, it fell flat on its face. the person that owned the volcano now sorely wishes he had gotten db instead.

the cano came in at the bottom of nearly every category, the hits were not nearly as fulfilling, its cord was about 6 ft(¿) compared to the 10 ft cords of the 7th floor products, and while the whip vapes were sitting there ready to be hit from, we had to stop and wait for the bag to fill up(and i aint even gonna touch on the extreme difference in price).
db was packing a heavy punch, it was giving the most powerful hits, but it was also going through the bowl faster than the ssv, i do believe the temp was a little higher than necessary on it. many shit eating grins after hits of this machine were seen.
the ssv really wasnt very far behind db in the thickness of its hits, but like i just mentioned, the bowls lasted for a few more hits, i believe further intensive research between the 2 units is needed to clearly define a winner.
if youre on a budget and looking for the best vaporizer for your money, i HIGHLY recommend db, it is, without a doubt, a volcano killer.

Haha, well I'm thrilled to hear that, as my DB is in the mail, but in another review you said the SSV gave richer hits than the DB.

Can we all just agree that the SSV and DB are the two best vapes out there and their performance depends on the temperature setting?

ps. we could argue forever how the 'cano is better for certain "lifestyles".. but how many of us have the "I'd rather sit around for 10 minutes to suck hits from a bag" lifestyle?

I'd say it would be a small difference at most, and temp could certainly account for it.

I can't. And I love my SSV. Quite a few excellent vapes out there though and sometimes the deciding factor can vary with the person. Who's gonna define "best"? Would we all agree on the 'best car'?

I do. Sometimes I enjoy a bag or two of vapor. Lots of people do nothing but bags. Could you tell me why you think that "lifestyle" is somehow inferior. And none of the bags I've ever used have taken 10 min. to fill or to drain.

well, i hate to say it, but i pulled a stoner move. i recorded over the shootout, so i am forced to do it again, and this time not procrastinate on transferring it onto the computer.

the good part to it is that we now get a 'take two' at it, the first draft was really just a few stoners who got high and hit record.
