Soooo, their website (my-iolite.com) says it's under construction and launching this May. We're running out of May and I'd like to know more about it.

Anybody have one they can post some information about? I'd like to know:
Do I need special butane?
How much does it cost me (in butane) to vape the largest possible amount and how long does it take?
Does it stand up to being dropped?
What does it look like inside?
Do you need to attach tubing onto the mouthpiece to get a cool hit?
Actually, any juicy info would be appreciated. Love it or hate it, I'd like to know.....

I've read that some people have them already. Any inside info on the website? Aren't they based in Ireland or something? Is this thing a piece of crap?

not much time to go over the thing but I do have one .. It was called I Inhale at first but had to change the name

I have used mine only a few times and Im loving it so far

I really dont think it can be dropped to much tho, its not real sturdy looking

as for the butane, any good will work in it. I vaped a few bowl one 1 refill

I hadnt thought about the tube on the tip of it for a cooler hit but it might work ... the short tip does get hot if used alot

as far as the insides.... I havent taken it apart lol

i recently bought a iolite vaporizer. i got the newest style with the non removable pin. great little unit, have not seen the inside, made by oglesby and butler from ireland which make many other types of products which use the same catalytic converter that the iolite uses so i knew it was a quailty product and not a untested device. use the best butane you can find the one with the least impurities(iolite has recommended brands) some crappier brand gum up the insides and wreck the unit. a fill of butane lasts 2 hours approx. and a can cost under 5 bucks. i wouldnt recommend dropping it but depending on what it was dropped on who knows, but just like an ipod im sure the warranty doesnt cover dropping(but dont quote me on it).

good vaporizer for portable use, very small and compact, keeps hands warm, two year warranty,

this is the next vape on my list to get. im stoked to really get a hold of one for the road. then the new digi bag style vape thats made by this new cali company that won the product showcase at last years cup. its half the volcano price.

hands down the best vaporizer this side of the Volcano. Think about it for a moment, a vaporizer that uses butane(use high grade butane),and doesn't smell of gas! I like my black model. It looks similar to a cell phone, so it was great road trips. Unfortunately Hawaii just passed a law about no driving with "hand held"electronics. So now my I-Inhale draws heat. So I pull over to 'vape' on the road.

I believe it has a three years parts & labor warannty too if my memory serves me right?. What other vaporizer offers up that?

If I was to complain about anything with this product. It would be it's start up time. It takes about five minutes or so to get up to speed. But for me I've come to use that little extra time for getting coffee, dealing with kids, or even the wifey in some cases if she feels neglected(which happens about once every month ).

The Iolite is definitely a great vaporizer but it does have some negatives.

The butane used it not necessarily "special" but you are suppost to use super refined butane to fill your Iolite. Hits straight out of the mouthpiece can be quite warm so I would attach a small extension for extra cooling.

I just can't see myself using butane to vaporizer when I want the purest method possible.

The price tag on this thing is also pretty hefty selling around $250.
