I enjoyed a trip to London and Paris when I was younger, though I wouldn't exactly call that "exotic". Haha.
Other than that, I've been all over central United States as well as the east coast. |

For me, Kerala, south India. Beautiful place, beautiful people, good food (if you're careful) and some decent weed and hash.
NZ also a very, very cool place.

First time I went snorkeling was on a cruise. actually, my first cruise. It was a Carnival, which was great the first time- "introduction to cruising". I signed up for a catamaran trip over to St. Johns. Almost didn't go, as I was so tired of all the lines and all the people everywhere.
But I decided to go anyway. Got over to the catamaran- and there were only about 15 of us, not the usual million. Hmmm, looks interesting. I had never been on a sailboat before- only power. Sat dead center on the front and another girl and I started swilling rum punch. The waves crashed into us, again and again. I laughed, delighted with it all. One glass would be rum punch, the next ocean water- but we didn't care. It was glorious.
Got to St. John, trashed. We were all trashed. They told us to go ahead and snorkel, and I thought "someone could die- we're trashed". But when I looked around I really didn't care- it was pure perfection. Private cove, excellent day, good people. Quite the happening. Just Heaven on earth.
We snorkeled- it was the most amazing thing I had ever seen or done. I felt like I was part of the most wondrous aquarium ever. The water was so buoyant, the coral huge and colorful, and the fish- more incredible than I could ever have imagined. I might as well have been tripping.
They served us a gourmet (and I do mean delicious) lunch, and all we wanted to drink. We spent hours before returning to the ship.
It was one of the most memorable, remarkable, incredible days of my entire life.
To this day I relish it. It brings me peace.

I have been to many countries. But by far the greatest place for me is coastal Alaska. Much of Alaska is breathtaking. Thats why I chose to live here.

Haines is amazing. 60 or 70 miles into Denali is also mind blowing.

Navy brat here so Ive been to many places, but my latest favorite place was South Louisiana, a swamp called Blue Bayou. This place really rocks, full of wild raw energy. I'd go back in a second.
