Paradise coffee shop is one of the worst i've been to..
I asked for the best weed they had and he gave me "super skunk" and no it wasn't super skunk..It Tasted Like dirt..to tokes and i was out..8 dam street if i remember, just of the square.
HORRIBLE!

But barneys was good, good atmosphere, good weed =D

My favorite shop has to be Amnesia. Great location next to a canal, nice and quiet area, their bud is top notch and they have killer milk shakes. Trust me......you won't be disappointed.

Everytime I go I visit these no matter what and this is my order for top coffeeshop for weed only.

The two places that I like going to are Central Coffeeshop & Happy People. I go to Central for the selection and I feel is a good place to get your money's worth for both smoke and hash. I personally like the chill environment of Happy People & they have a place sectioned off to smoke b/c there is an ordinance in effect for smoking in public places

I plan on checking out Dampkring the next time I am out there. From what I can tell the vibe is pretty nice.

man i want to move to amsterdam. not just because of the shops but it just looks like such a cool place. seems like a great atmosphere to be stoned of course too

Hmn, when I read the title of this post, I thought it would be lotsa suggestions of sweet places to be in Amsterdam... not just the coffee shops.

I got some suggestions here, add more if you know any:

- going to the cinema, while high (bring snacks...)
- going to the Vondel Park, and then get high there
- going to the Vondel Park after dark, and then get high there (if you go more south, it gets less ppl and you can blaze under a big tree near the lake )
- clubbing, while high, my favorite is the Escape Venue, they got screens on the side-walls as well and it get's really trippy! sometimes feels like you're in space)
- clubbing while high, but with fancy clothes (...)
- going to museums, while high, many museums in Amsterdam...Foam photo museum if you like photography, this can get you thinking a lot! The Sex museum is obvious, near the Amsterdam Centraal station. Van Gough Museum might be worth going to, but I haven't been there. Also, there's a fluoresent art museum -- haven't been to this one, but seems nice -- they got whole rooms completely fluoresent, would be really trippy!
- rent out a boat and get some snacks (careful not to get lost in the channels!)
- Taart van m'n Tante -- this is the name of a cake shop (google for address). The first time I arrive to A'dam I like to get a whole cake to start a relaxing time ... just for me


hmn I'm gonna make some food now... but hope that someone might write some good spots to be at in A'dam that are easily missed if you go just for a weekened.

me and my friends are going to amsterdamn for the 1st in 9 days on a uni trip (luv uni XD) was wondering if ppl knew which coffee shops r 4 real smokers cos we dnt want any of the touristy weak weed

Haarlem is a 20 minute train ride from Amsterdam Centraal Station.
