Stoner Buck$$: 696.06 | The real New York Took a trip back to my hometown last week and wanted to share it with you. This is the real New York, not that visual of pavement and skyscrapers.
First up is Cass Park looking at Cayuga Inlet, the boat house you see is for the Cornell University Crew Team |

Stoner Buck$$: 696.06 | Re: The real New York So I got in my vehicle and drove to the next free city park, Stewart Park, a place i used to eat my lunch at very often when working. This shows the end of the Inlet from a different view. |

Stoner Buck$$: 696.06 | Re: The real New York A few blocks away is another park, Buttermilk Falls. All of these parks were built back during the Depression by the CCC camps and no picture can display their beauty.
Another great swimming and camping spot. |

Stoner Buck$$: 696.06 | Re: The real New York Thanks for enjoying. I truly love it there, such a beautiful place. And Hazin is right, pics of the snowdrifts are spectacular. Only problem is ya gotta be prepared for being homebound for several months at times.
But the summer is a celebration because of the cold winter. Every Memorial Day is the same; the stores can never stock enough beer or hot dog/hamburger rolls. Might not like Yankees, but ya just gotta respect their ability to party.
Glad it makes you feel fuzzy T. |
