Smoking the weed in public...

I would quite like to know any experiences people have had smoking ganja in public. I live in the middle of the countryside, so i don't really know what smoking in the city is like. Is it even possible apart from in a house?

Ive smoked in the capital of norway, Oslo.
Broad daylight and the streets was rushing.
I walked around with a joint in my mouth and smoked some widdow.
I dont think anybody noticed that it was actually a joint, i think people just presume that you got a ciggarete in your mouth when you smoke in public.
Only thing though, that i noticed, was getting VERY paranoid and afraid :P

I have done it plenty of times, at work, in school (when i was in school), walking down the street, sitting in parks. Walking down the streets of chicago.

Usually a joint or blunt are the best ways to go, very sneaky like. if there is a lot of traffic, and you have to use a piece, I would suggest some kinda one hitter, that looks like a cigarette, most people dont focus on you enough to notice its weed

haha nice. a few pub gardens turn a blind eye where i live, but it has to be a joint, can't really imagine hitting up a pipe or bong in a bustling street...

I lived in milwaukee for a few years (45 min away from chicago). We smoke blunts in public anywhere really. The worst that will happen if caught is getting the blunt stepped on and thats about it. Cops dont really care about smoking more for selling the shit.

I do it all the time. I have smoked buds, hash, vaped and eaten marijuana brownies all in public. when ever I go to the Marijuana march in Denver, I always walk around with my snowboarding pipe( fits nicely in my palm, plus I have a technique that protects the bowl from wind and hides it), and never once have I been stopped. when the march was happening, the people around me took at least like 15 minutes to realize I was smoking a pipe( with Chem/Dawg- REALLY stinky pot). so yeah, I wouldnt worry about it. honestly, I think its worse to be in a wide open area as opposed to public because people can make out what you are doing from a far, and when your in a public setting, theirs so much going on its hard to tell what your doing. thats my two cents

Youre not suppose to smoke outside? That's the only place I smoke. Outside in the car, outside on the way to work, outside in the garden.....

Hmn... I live in the burbs and one day me and my friend decided to take a walk around the neighborhood for a bit and we rolled a small lil joint and these two, about 14 year old looking kids kept staring at us as they walked passed us.
Lol, it was pretty funny to see their faces.

Also at school a bunch of times, behind the bleachers, in the bathroom. And everywhere in the park

Haha yeah mate. Alot of people light up in town lol.
Most of the time I go down by the river walk and sit in a nice place and enjoy the bud and the view. And you see HEAPS of other people down there aswell enjoying a nice joint or pipe lol.

The city can be pretty chill if you know where to go... usually i go to a park or this spot by a river i know. Or just walk or drive around with a joint and usually its chill.

I smoke all around my town because its so small.
All 3 parks.
Backyards.
Hot boxing cars on the street.
In the fields.
In the creek.
Skatepark.
While riding through town passing the J to my friends.

I got to smoke a little in front of the White House on the 4th would of liked to smoke the park out BUT....the man was all over,On the norm you can usually some a J or blunt walking around the mall just as long as you dont get up on a bunch of people .

Meh, in my opinion I've learned to be more discreet and responsible about my smoking, after having been arrested several times. This includes not toking up in public; I don't like to put myself in the position to possibly have to run from the police. It's our responsibility as stoners to be functioning parts of our community, to get rid of all the hate and proppaghanda that's spread about our culture.
