I didn't want to drag up a thread from down the board (I thought that might be bad form and I'm new) so I figured I'd start a new one and share. Sorry if I wasn't supposed to.
ANYWAY, I wanted to share a couple of personal classics. One, I smoked with a bunch of friends before class, thinking I'd just keep my mouth shut and it would be cool. They weren't in my class. What are the odds the teacher would point at me (in the back row, and this is college mind you) and say "you! explain the conditions for the working class in Britain during the industrial revolution!"
The other one was the time six of us drew straws to make the mac and cheese we'd remembered to buy first but not make, and I lost. We put the noodles in and I was ordered to stir them. So I did. After what felt like an hour, my friends came back and stared. Then someone said "dang it! YOU FORGOT TO TURN THE STOVE ON!" I still maintain my job was only to stir the macaroni, the stove was their problem.
