[FONT='Arial','sans-serif']So, my little sister (she's 13, 10 years younger than I) told me a few days ago that she wants to try smoking for the first time. I know some of her friends smoke and it wouldn't be hard for her to get a hold of smoke and smoke with them but she told me she wanted to do it with me since I'm older and more experienced than her Friends. The problem is that with such a big age difference I feel like that's something I shouldn't do.
I was thinking, if I'm going to smoke her up for her first time I want to do it on 4-20 (Sunday). Something she can remember, you know. I also wanted to get her a cute little earth day card and write something special that only her and I will ever appreciate. I think it would be cool for her as she gets older and if she becomes a regular smoker to have such a cool first time story. Something a little more deep than most of us had.
If a kid wants to smoke weed, they are going to smoke weed, there isnt much you can do to stop them, so I would say smoke with her. Itd prolly be much safer if it was with you than a group of 13 year olds. So I say do it, but thats just me

damn! i wish i had a big bro like you! make it the best damn day she ever had! evidentally, she feels pretty safe with you, so go for it, card and all, she can decide from there on, just pick a nice quiet spot to toke it up, and let us know how it goes cheers!

I smoked my boyfriend's little sister up for her first time, she's 17. I love getting stoned with her now, she's hilarious.

I think I may just do it with her.. The more I think of it, the more I think of how much I would prefer her doing it with me then some horny little 13yro Boys.
That's exactly what my folks said to me when I was young. Better them exposing me to weed then some weirdo horny dude.

Do it. I was about 14 when I first smoked (or 15, I forgot haha) but I did it with my older cousin, who was like a brother to me. It's definitely the way to go. I think I was the most informed 15 year old stoner at least haha. And it was much better hanging around with a group of people that knew him then strangers (this of course was helped by the fact that he'd kick anyone's ass who fucked with me). It sounds silly but it means a lot, I think. And it's better than letting your sister go get high with other dumb 13 year olds before she knows better.
I think you should make sure you ALWAYS, keep an open communication with her, so she has you to keep her on the right track.
In my opinion, kids should wait until after high school to drink or smoke, and kinda have an idea of what they wanna do in the next 5 years. but when does that happen?
Kids will be kids, as said before. 13 is a VERY impressionable age, and you might want to think how this is going to affect school work and how she feels about the fuzz. Not to mention how much she might smoke it. FOR SOME, pot is not a positive influence, just like anything else used irresponsibly. i knew someone with ADD in high school, and every time he smoked, it was an excuse to act out. Including shoplifting, assault, and evading the police. not the pot that might have done it, but it was an excuse, just like anything can be.
Smart, and accurate information is always better in my opinion for anyone. So maybe throw a little education in there. make sure she knows the difference between pot and other substances. its surprising how many kids don't know the real differences.
In my little opinion.
(To be 100% fair though, i also chose pot over dranky drank my junior and senior years. < )

Man, I completely agree with you 100% on everything you said.. Believe me, I know 13 is young and smoking can make a huge difference in the choices she makes later on in life, that's mainly why i don’t want her to do it nor do i want to promote it.. [FONT='Verdana','sans-serif']But.. I started smoking at 13 and never did I let smoking interfere with my future. I knew what was important and enjoyed smoking responsibly. Now, I know that everyone isn't the same and she could have the adverse reaction, which it what I want to avoid all together.
Believe me, i keep a more than open communication with her. She stays with my partner, my baby and I every weekend and when she doesn't have any school. She enjoys being at our place and talks to us about everything and I’m very honest with her. i tell her how shit really is. Friday nights when she gets to my place we sit down and watch intervention and we talk about the effects of severe drug abuse and what that can cause to your life.. I make sure to educate her about any topic she asks..
I guess all in all, I'm just afraid of her growing up. lol I'll always see her as my baby sister and well, now she's going to HS and wanting to smoke pot.. It's just a little mind boggling.
lemme tell you, bro. my first time was when I was 13 and this kid was a dick. He didn't teach me how to do it, he just watched my cough my brains out and laughed. I have broken many proverbial "cherries" of my friends and have always been jealous of them fit it.
