| Last Night
Ok this isnt really a funny story or some kind of DUH thing, just my night last night.
I've been sober for a week and last night was my buddy's birthday. He lives about 45 minutes away so I decided my GF and I would go visit him and be there on his b day (hes my closest male friend....not in distance but in heart)
Anyway we get there and his roomie has a nice bag of Gravity for sale so I snatch it up. We hang out, chat for a while and I watch as the two guys play some Guitar Hero, at this point I'm watching them I'm like "WTH" with the game, dont know how to play it, never actually seen anyone play it, I've heard all about it just never been there with someone when they play and I just sit and chill and watch them play while my GF talks with the roomie's wife and we all hang out and catch up (Deaf people usually live miles apart from each other so when we get together the first 2 hours is always talking about stuff thats happened since we last saw each other)
My buddy is an awesome cook and he had a 23 lb turkey roasted to perfection, when I say perfection I'm saying not too dry, not too moist but JUST RIGHT. We all have dinner and then the fun begins. Keep in mind all of us are Deaf, so theres several convos going on and people are talking over each other (its kind of different hard to explain) Anyway we finish dinner then we decide to head to the garage. Its 6 below outside and the garage is a nice chilly "den" They have couches and chairs in the garage as well as a card table and several hiding spots (big stoners) So we're all chillin in the garage and smoking bowls of gravity, if you havent had Gravity, that stuff messes you up, but it keeps building and building. So if you start feeling high after a few hits, you're already screwed lol.
We finish toking and head out to go cosmic bowling, bowling was ok, the lanes were kind of dull and we were only allowed an hour due to the fact other people are waiting (small towns small lanes friday night is their money making night) so we decide after bowling to head back to their house and chill. We get back and have more gravity, The neighbor's roomie had borrowed my buddy's guitar hero for the night while she babysat their children while we were out. She's very good with the game so I could understand her wanting to borrow it. I asked the neighbor if he could run over and get the game, I was very curious as to how it was played and all that. I wanted to see if I could maybe play one song.
One song became 2 became 5 became 10.....we all took turns playing songs. I had an awesome time and it was one of the best times being high since I can remember due to the atomsphere, the company, and the gravity. I am now planning to trade my xbox and games in for a playstation 2 just so I can play that game. I have found something to do while high now, I'm gonna try to get my girlfriend into the game as well. Finally a game we can both play. Amazing how ONE game can get you to abandon your loyalty to a certian game console.
All in all I believe it was one of the better birthdays for my buddy, he said he enjoyed watching me rock out and he was impressed with my ability to pick up the game quick and not only play but also rock with it (I was headbanging and rocking to Metallica by the end of the night)
Anyone ever have such a great night they wish it never ended?
