I work in a restaurant so most of the people there smoke and of course it comes in conversation. Whenever I mention smoking people always say "you smoke?!" I mean of course you can't always tell, even if you know a person. I mean I was really surprised when I found out one of my friends did but only because she is a future teacher and really reserved. Anyway though, do you ever get any weird reactions?

Actually, people always thought I smoked BEFORE I smoked because I had really long hair for awhile. I didn't start smokin til after I cut it though, and now people think I don't smoke because I don't look like I do and when people asked when I looked like I did, I told them I didn't.
If that's not a sentence written stoned, I don't know what is.
I get the "What you toke?" look all the time when I'm around friends who smoke.....I'm a Christian and I usually try to share my beliefs, so when I fire up my friends go "WTF" lol
I am open about my smoking to those who are tolerant or understanding of it. I prefer not to tell those who are ANTI WEED that I smoke unless they ask.
Above all I dont flaunt my smoking, I dont wear clothing that mentions marijuana, listen to obvious stoner bands (Cypress Hill, Kottonmouth Kings, etc etc) or talk about it often so a lot of people dont know or dont realize I smoke. Not that I'm hiding it, I just dont feel the need to tell people I do.
You can bet that WHEN it becomes legal, I'll be out on my front porch toking joints all the time lol

I get it all the time. I work two jobs, and don't really look like I smoke. I told my main boss that I smoke every day and she was sort of surprised. She doesn't mind because a) we do graphic design at a paper, and b) she has her own vices, and gets high every once in a while, so she's cool with it.

I had a restaurant job a while back, and nobody thought I smoked until I was talking to a guy there who knew my husband's family. As soon as I told him who I was married to, he asked if I smoked. When I told him I did, everyone totally freaked!
The ironic part is that my husband actually doesn't smoke. Some of his brothers do, but I tend to stay as far away from them as possible.
when i first started people thought it was strange when i told them i smoked but as time passed and i stop telling people because i didnt care if they knew they figured i was a pot head. whats really funny though the reason i started to smoke was because i got in trouble for smoking when i didnt so i said i might as well because i was already accused
IDK if ppl know that I smoke or not. I don't care really, I just come to work stoned off my ass, ignore everyone, and sit in my cubical. I work with a bunch of soccer moms and corprate assholes so I can't really conversate about getting high with anyone.
Psh.. every who meets me usually knows, unless its at some formal event.. I guess i just reek of stoner, but i really dont care, its my lifestyle. I guess the Kottonmouth Kings, Grateful Dead, plus other related shirts i wear dont help. Or the hemp necklace with the shroom bead. But anyways im more suprised by people who think that i dont smoke.. I usually laugh and say "You sure your talking about the right Alex Thompson"
Funny note, once, in highschool health class, we had our school police officer come talk to our class about drugs, and he was blatantly asking me questions on street prices/terms. It was akward.. but whatever.

We had are School cop come and they had weed and passed it around and said "We know how much weed there is and we will weigh it so we know if you took any" and when they got it back.. they had more weed then when they passed it around.. They were like "WTF?!" Alot of people know i smoke and really dont ask me if i do Cause normally they just figure that i do
Everybody knew i smoked during school years i think it was the staring at the blank board at the front of class giving off a little giggle from time to time.

Here recently I actually had a guy come up to me and ask if I wanted to buy an eight, I was just going in to the gass station to pay for gas. Guess I give off a stoner vibe lol.
none of my friends belive i smoke either because i never toke it with them. i ended up having to film myself taking a bong hit and putting it on youtube
they only laffed at me and claimed it was tea leaves -_-
but ill smoke with them next week at a party, and ill hit liek a pro and rub it in ther faces
In high school I was extremely shy with anybody outside of my close network of family and friends, and I was a little strange, just because I was so quiet. When people I went to high school with find out that I smoke now... they look fucking stunned out of their minds that I could ever to be tokin'. lol. Its great!
I think a lot of people would be surprised that I smoke. I have a very tight group of family and friends, and they are the only ones who know my "secret habits" haha. Oh... and all of you guys of course. Cheers to everybody!
