so back in november of 2005 me and the girlfriend took a pilgrimage vacation to amsterdam for the cannabis cup of that year. had a great fuckin time, its hard not to when your primary mission for the day is to smoke as much weed as possible. anyways, this was one of the last ceremonies. they got abuot 3 ounces of assorted herb, a handfull of random hash, and a crowd to stone. fire it up now!

when the blower started dying out, they started throwing joints out to the crowd. i was working my way closer to get a joint when i found myself looking straight at the blower. opened my mouth and took a big ol hit, youll see when the camera goes slightly cockeyed for a few seconds.

that shit was simply amazing, the entire room was one thick ass haze. in its prime, i could barely see 10 feet in front of me.

My god. That is the coolest thing I have ever seen. I've always thought about making a smaller pipe similar to that. Like a pipe that would use a fan you blow smoke straight into your lungs. That would be so cool. Man i wish i could have been there. You must have been the happiest man alive.

it was an experience, thats for sure. we didnt go to a whole lot of the sanctioned events, they were usually pretty crowded, and we had a lot of pot to smoke and evaluate.

i plan on going back to amsterdam, but now that ive done the cup thing, i want to go to one of their other pot fests. you could definately see the commercialization going on, the big names had a big hand in things.

if i had the funds and the ability to doso, i would totally up and move there, it lacks everything that i cant stand about america.
