idk why you guys are against driving high? i'm ok if not better when im high because ik i have to pay more attention and i have never gotten in any accidents....

allright the reason im against it is because 1 tiny little mistake can fuck the shit up bad and right now with the effort to try to decrim or straight up legalize it its very imporant that we dont give them any reasons to stand on keeping it illegal, i know that it makes alot of people better drivers and it depends on how fucked up you are but if something big happens it gives them something to make weed look bad, and im not saying that i dont drive high or that ive never driven high but for certain people they shouldnt you know?

I will definitely agree to that! I'm always driving everyone around, so it's nice to take time off and smoke a bowl and not have to drive when I'm really stoned.

honestly, i'm too scared to drive high, because i look at it the same as i look at drinking and driving, but for those who drive better high, more power to you :]

Man, when I was dealin, I drove everywhere stoned. It was completely second nature. Now like 2 years later I haven't driven stoned in forever. Tried to the other day and completely freaked. I guess I was just used to it.

driving high is not for everyone....... i dont like driving stoned myself......
but its kinda like prescription meds in a way..... once your used to it(like vicoden) it should be fine to drive..... most prescription meds say either dont drive at all or dont drive until you've gotten used to it..... buds are the same way, some are uber potent and shouldnt be driven on, and some are less likely to get you so stoned as to not be able to drive on....

Well lets see...I ride my ATV while high, I ride motorcycles while high, I operate backhoes and skid loaders while high. If I didn't drive while high....I'd never get anywhere.

I have been driving for over 30 years...zero tickets...zero "accidents". Hell my insurance for my truck, full coverage is $400.00 a year.

I like driving on the freeway stoned. It's like racing.

I used to be against it but like some I actually drive better when I'm stoned and have been doing so for about 5 years. The only bad experience I ever had was when I was stopped by a traffic light up this REALLY steep hill. Right behind my arse was a police car. I was so scared that my crappy brakes were going to give in and my leg started shaking on the clutch. Anyway nothing really exciting happened out of it.

Even my anti-dope friends concede they trust me 100% when I'm behind the wheel when I'm stoned.

I don't really endorse drink-driving though. That's another thing in the past that I can say I've done way too often. Except I've gotten into a couple of minor accidents when I've had a lot to drink, it's not good at all. Like the time I punctured my wheel and didn't have a spare so I drove home with a flat tire while drunk. I don't seem to care about getting busted half as much as when I'm stoned

Anyone who is comparing drunk driving to high driving I think is an idiot... I'm sorry, but they're completely different and I actually drive very good high. I actually drive a lot safer when I'm high (although I'm a really good driver normally). I take my time more and am all around more cautious, I never do stupid shit when I'm not high or take any real risks, but theres some things id do when I'm not high that I wouldn't when im high (i never text and drive when I'm high, yet I always do it when im normal, and I can do it very effieciently when I'm normal so dont give me shit. I can text without looking at it and I only check my messages when I'm stopped) I just think... Hey I don't want to be one of those anti-pot smoking ads on TV so I be extra careful.

I feel bad about it but ive driven after smoking A blunt..just one and while im a little drifty in my head i have driven to pick up friends and get food and i feel a bit shitty about it because i know i should be more repsonsible. but it is a cool feeling rolling down the street with the windows down a cool breeze coming in...ahh just nice man. lol

Well that's the perfect reason to compare them! Because of the vast differences, you can compare the two! Alcohol = legal and is way dangerous. Pot = illegal and is not quite as dangerous. Different effects on the body as well. This will show us how driving high is not quite as bad as driving drunk.

I like driving high, but not if I'm blazing. If I'm blazing I'm going to stay at home, eat a butterfingers and listen to Pink Floyd.

i drive high all the time.im just used to it from high school when i used to meet up w/ my friends b4 school smoke go get sumthin to eat and drive 2 school...i dont think its as hard as driving drunk unless u smoke alot...

I would not compare driving high to driving drunk.

I will admit driving drunk is a BAD idea, and I highly do not recommend it for the safety of you and others.

However, driving high is no different then driving sober to me.

It might be different for different people but my motor skills are the same when stoned.

When I started smoking back in freshman year in high school I took drivers education blazed along with the actual hour long drives and was fine.

I have never been in an accident stoned and do not plan on it.

But, it takes alot of concentration and driving recklessly is not something to toy with. So if herb "fucks you up", than don't drive.
