Xander and I go ghost hunting every time the weather is decent for it. I've been doing so sine my parents took me when I was little, and he started with his father, so it's kind of a neat thing we share.
We've caught some wicked EVP (electronic voice phenomena) while videotaping and using a tape recorder, but the most memorable time was last summer.
We brought a joint and a couple of non-believers (Mormons and Wiccans actually) with us to our local Indian Burial ground (Xander is over 50% Native American) and they were being kinda immature (for 35 year olds...) and disrespectful. The core group of us, Xander, J, Ari, and I, walked on ahead of the newbies who were being jerks. I paused for a minute and said "hey, we should wait for them" and, as if he were reading my thoughts and speaking them back to me, Xander turned to me and said "Why?"
It doesn't seem that weird, but the feelings the 4 of us had when we talked about it after were almost identical. We wanted to leave the jerks there in the woods to fend for themselves as an offering to the evil that resides there.
The place we ghost hunt is down a dirt road past some railroad tracks. There is a train that stops by every day at 4am and checks the cars for stow aways, etc, and blocks the road in doing so. We heard the train and hurried back... but htere was no train. There were a couple others of the new group who had chickened out and stayed in the cars at the road and they were freaked out because they heard the train as if it were close but it never came... So weird! Xander's experienced weirder shit there, but I don't want to tell his stories and screw them up lol.

I have had paranormal experiences since i was little, from dreams that come true, to voices, to things being moved/dropped.. seeing shadows, ever complete ghosts.. I wish I had had the ability to record or the knowledge when I was younger, but I now do, and my friends and i are sure am going to try soon... Snow Moon

i love ghost hunting so much, i don't have anyone who'll do it with me anymore though. i need some more friends for this activity. i have been seeing/hearing paranormal things since i was a little boy its kind of something im really into studying. i aspire to be a professional paranormal investigator some day.

Just an FYI, professional doesn't always mean you make money ^_^ For most people, being a professional PI is just a hobby still. If you are a professional, you can sell adspace to your site and make a little money there, but only if you have a bit of traffic going to it, and then you still have to pay about $60/year for your site & hosting.
We were professional for a while, but we couldn't renew the site. Too much work & money. It is something to aspire to get up & running again though |

My older brother and myself are midnight tokers. We smoke outside on the backsteps and we see all sorts of activity. Not just paranormal, but extraterestial and such...For example, a few days ago my brother and I kept seeing shadows at the corner of our eye zooming by..On many other occasions, we seems to always think there is a person standing at the top of the steps, but of course there isn't.
We see a lot of "planes" in the sky too. Objects that move at high speeds and cut around in the sky..As far as I'm concerned, there isn't any american aircraft that moves the way we see things unidentified flying objects move.

It's interesting to note that in many Native American Indian practices (Xander is over 60% Sioux) as well as Shinto (native Japanese religion) marijuana and hemp smoke is often used to 'attract spirits.' I have noticed that there is much more activity when we burn, too.
