Although you may not all be Pat's fans, hell some of you are probably happy about his season ending injury. It sucks for me as a Pats fan to see that happen on the opening game. Matt Cassel stepped up though hopefully he can continue that type of play.
Any other pats fans bummed about Brady?

I am not a Pats fan, but Brady getting hurt does not mean the end of the season. There's way to much talent for the team to just fall apart. That's what I love about the NFL. When someone goes down, there is usually someone as good if not better waiting for their chance to shine.

Although I am a NFC fan, pulling for the Giants and the Panthers, New England has been my favorite AFC team. I don't think you have to be a Patriots fan to be saddened by Brady's injury and his loss for the season but for those that are it must be a huge blow. Wouldn't be ironic if Cassel substituting for an injured Brady performs incredibly well as Brady did years ago when he substituted for an injured Drew Bledsoe. Bledsoe never started another game for the Patriots. Things that make you go hmmmmm!

Tom Brady says "Now I can be free to party like a rock star"
I like the guy, and the Pats are one of my teams.....but dude....why should we feel sorry for him? He makes millions weather or not he pays.....I wont see a million dollars til I retire...even then I probably wont see that much money in my lifetime.
My motto is....if he's making 10 million a year just to sit on the bench....I'm not crying for him when he gets hurt.

Lots of times with an ACL tear, you can walk and move OK, its just gone.. It hurts, of course, but a buddy of mine finished skiing his run after he blew his out, obviously gingerly..
I never like to see a season and possible career ending injury happen to anyone, especially my 1st round fantasy pick, and the Pats have some other weapons who will have to step up (and not sure if Moss has the character to shine under adversity, he is kinda flaky) BUT I am excited as to what it means for my Bronco's.. Brady out in NE, they barely beat the subpar Chiefs, Merriman is out for the losing Chargers, and the Colts looked terrible in their first game.. The Broncos did play the shitty Raiders, but at least they handled them like they should, and beware of Jay Cutler, he is for real.......

I never like to see a season and possible career ending injury happen to anyone, | an ACL tear isnt career ending they can fix your knee now so good it will be better then before you got injured. at the University of Iowa Hospitals sports medicine department they have become experts in repairing these injuries and most of the time when they fix them the player comes back better than ever. chad greenway had his fixed twice and said his knees felt stronger after surgery.
i do want to say that i have a lot of sympathy for the hydro hut killers has to be a big blow to your fantasy hopes this season

I'm a lifetime Pats fan ... and I like Brady ... but I really believe in karma ... and when you consider all of the games that the Pats destroyed their opponents last season, along with the sleezy way that the Patriots management report injuries , along with spy-gate ... along with the huge price increase to the fans ... it's the perfect storm of bad karma ... and there is no sympathy for them ...

So BRADY'S injury is bad karma for the PATS?
Brady just plays for them and yeah he can be arrogant sometimes and he can act like he's God's gift to quarterbacking, but I don't see how the bad karma by the Front office and coaches is the reason Brady is hurt....don't you think the president getting sick or the owner dying would be more of a karma thing than Brady getting hurt?
As for Boone, yeah ACL injuries suck but the knee DOES feel stronger after surgery, if you do the right rehab. I blew out my knee in 01 and had surgery to repair the ACL and the Menicus, physical therapy to "dead" muscles is the most painful thing I've ever experienced...even the blowout didn't hurt as much as therapy did. I had to re learn how to use that knee, had to push myself past my breaking points to gain muscle back into that knee, and while the knee feels stronger, the rest of your life, you're going to feel that twitch and twinge of pain now and then when you pivot wrong or land wrong after jumping and etc etc.
ACL injuries CAN be career ending if the person refuses to rehab thru it and just wants to sit around.

I never said anything about feeling sorry for Brady i was stateing i am bummed about his knee. Although he is still makeing 10 million a year he still loves the game and was a huge part of the patriots successe. That would be cool im Cassel stepped in and did to Brady what Brady did to Bludso.
Go Pats

Frankly, I am disturbed by the number of people who refuse to feel compassion for Brady because of how much he is paid. That just doesn't seem right to me. Here's a guy that is at the height of his career and is arguably the best at his position. He plays with passion and wants to deliver winning football to a passionate fan base. This injury has taken him out of the game he loves for the rest of the year; less than 1/4 of the way into it. How can you not feel sorry for him or anybody in that position?
Anyway, I just heard that he had complete tears of both the ACL and the MCL. If rehab goes well, as others here have said, he will return next year. Then it will be a process to get over the mental part of the injury.

Im not gonna lie, Im happy as hell he got hurt, lmao. He plays football, he hurt his knee, thats part of football. Where is the "I feel soo bad for Shawne Merriman"thread or Vince Young. He aint gonna die! Why should I feel compassion for him?
They are gonna still be a good team, 10-6, maybe 11-5. Matt Cassel wont be able to win a playoff game though.
Karma comes back twice as hard. The Patriots cheated, got caught, last year they choked, this year they have a zero chance of winning a Super Bowl, see?
Dont feel bad for Mr. Brady, he has a beautiful model girlfriend he will get to spend the season with, I bet you wont see him on the sidelines in street clothes rooting his team on.
Gooo Steelers!! hehe.
Teebox keep on being disturbed buddy, Im not gonna feel sorry for a football player that suffers a relatively minor injury in the grand scheme of things. He isnt paralyzed, he isnt gonna die, he'll be back next year. Feel sorry for what? A player that suffered the same injury 50 other players will this season? Where are their threads? Boohoo for them too now.
Get real.
