I once broke my foot playing "HORSE" with my roomie. He's 6'2 and jumped off a trampoline and did a 360 dunk.....I'm 5'4 did the same thing but I was wearing sandals and the landing caused a hairline fracture....moral of the story....DON'T PLAY BASKETBALL IN SANDALS!

it was bout 1 maybe 2 yrs ago when i was thinking about new tricks with my skate board when i thought it would be a gd idea to run and jump on to a hand rail with my skate board it didnt got to plan like i wanted it to

My injury happened my sophmore year in high school. I was in a wrestling match and the kid was behind me and did a forward trip and all his weight and mine came down on my chest which was on top of his fist, cracking a bunch of cartalidge in my chest and seprating my collarbone from my shoulder. Ouch it still hurts sometimes haha good thing I have MJ

ok so i played football (american) in high school. But anyways i was at the homecoming game my junior year and this fucking fatass from the other teams d-line fuckin falls on my knoee and torn my acl and broke my ankle at the same time Can you say bye bye to scholarchip that is what got me startin on this crapr

when i was skiing in winter park a few years ago, i was flyin around in the trees and ended up getting clotheslined right in the forehead by a branch. fell straight back, and reflexively put my elbow out behind me... landed pretty hard and ended up tearing my right rotator cuff. it was shitty, couldnt even lift my arm up.

before that, one day i was skiing and riding up a poma on a very steep hill... someone ahead of me was bringing up a metal-edges shovel to build a jump and dropped up. the next part is easy to guess, it slid down blade first and hit me in the shins as i was riding up the poma... ended up getting 3 stitches on each leg.

Mhh must be like 3 years ago now... I was mountainbiking downhill in winter... covered with snow... but there was a part with ice.. where I slipped and crashed the hill down all the way.. got knocked out and woke up in hospital with blood covered...
i lost a front teeth.. -.- and broke my ancle...

i got a titanium implantat/ceramic ... looks alike a real tooth...
but the my right foot ancle never got really stabilized... i broke the muscle 2 times after that.... basketball and handball... -.-

i once got 4 broken ribs and one of them poked a small hole in my lung and also broken collar bone all on one put return in my first JV game

I would say breaking both my ankles at different times skateboarding .. I just gotten done healing from the last broken ankle and got another one not even two-three days later . lesson learned: DONT try to ollie over gaps spanning more then 4 feet. especially when they are concrete blocks, raised 3 ft off the ground! yeah, other then that , I would say ripping four ligaments in my fore arm snowboarding, trying ti avoid some rad little 4 year old that came barreling down a trail merging with the one I was barreling down. I didnt kill the kid, didnt even touch him, but fucked up my ability to easily move my left arm for 3 months. oh well, half the fun of winning is defeat!

Yeah, I'm pretty much in this camp. I mean I did some dumb shit and got hurt, but nothing really serious. However, I was 6'9" 315 lbs of monster and I hurt a few people bad. Shattered a knee cap in a mid-air collision, broke a wrist slamming someone into the ground later that game (I was a bit of an "enforcer"). I broke someones foot landing hard on it after grabbing a rebound. Later that game some kid knocked my legs out from under me when I shot and I knocked him over and landed on him. This resulted in his knee dislocating and there was some ligament damage as well. Honestly though I feel general indifference towards those incidents now as its all part of the game up here.

The one time I actually got hurt playing, worse than a sprained ankle (I used to sprain it worse through tape and tape it more), I was playing a pick up game with a buddy of mine. Who also happens to hold the school record and is unofficially 2nd in state statistics for blocked shots. I went up for a shot and he slammed it back into my hand and there was a pop. My buddy said, "Oh, there's a jam" and I put my left hand up to show him that the pinky finger was broken off at a 90 degree angle. So, of course, I did the logical thing and set the finger by slamming my hand against the car and finishing the game. Later that night I went to the hospital and I was told I'd need surgery (though ended up getting denied by the doctor because I only had medicaid, told me straight up that "if I had real insurance" he'd do surgery). So now I have a mutant pinky, and I broke the fifth metacarpal in my right hand boxing a brick wall and had two surgeries on it so both my hands are fucked up.
