Lesnar pulled out of his fight with Carwin. He's got the H1N1 Virus. It's been rescheduled for jan 2nd. Sucks I have to wait, but anyone who's seen Lesnar fight knows that not only is he afraid to get hit and flinches when people swing at him, but he can't take a hit. Frank Mir wobbled him with a couple jabs. Carwin is just as big as Lesnar, just as strong, and hits like a fucking truck.

Lesnar ain't getting out of that fight with his jaw in one piece. I'll tell you that right now.

yeah i agree carwin is a beast and hes got a mechanical engineering degree i think it might be a masters if i remeber correctly

Who here has a fighter they really like that hasn't yet made it to UFC and you'd really like to see them there?

Mine is Joachim "Hellboy" Hansen... He was in PRIDE, he's competed in ADCC and pro kickboxing tournaments. He's stellar in all aspects and would shake the fuck out of the lightweight contenders in UFC.

Brock now is claiming he probably won't be able to take the fight against Carwin on January 2nd either. Dana said he didn't sound sick or anything and sounded perfectly fine on the phone. There's also video of him at the Vikings Ravens game 2 weeks ago, which is during the time that he was supposedly so sick he couldn't even train.

Lol sorry to all the Brock Lesnar nut huggers, but it's like I've been saying all along. This clown is done for as soon as he fights someone his own size. He's running scared from Shane Carwin. Brock just wants to fight 220 pound guys because he's 280 pounds. First sign of a fighter his own size and he's trying his hardest to duck it.

They're just trying to get him as much time as they can to teach him some striking. I think it's a lost cause.

There's a bunch of lightweights I want to see in the UFC. Hansen, Ayoki and his magic submission tights, Josh Thompson. Most of all, Takanori Gomi.

The one guy that I always wanted to see in MMA was Ramon Dekkers. This dude was a vicious mother fucker. He had a couple of mma fights and didn't do so well. Pure striker with a Judo background but that's not enough these days in the sport. He's retired now, wish he was younger.

Ayoki would be good, those pants he wears are banned in UFC though. They create added friction to give maximum control when grappling off your back. I'm not sure if Dana White is aware of that though, he probably just thinks it's gay and said no. lol

It's gonna be hard to get typical mma/ufc fans to watch the lower weight classes. You have to remember that a good majority of ufc fans still fall into the pro-wrestling / side-show category of fans. They like to see two big, uncoordinated, unskilled, freakshow's lumber around in the cage and maybe get lucky and score a knockout.

I think, if the WEC continues to put together good cards and gets some more marketing, then Zuffa should finally just pull the plug on the WEC monaker and lump it in with UFC. They could do something like Pride did with Bushido. Same promotion, different weight classes, different events.

i absolutly love the WEC and i agree and say all the time that most ufc fans arent MMA fans they just want to see oxen going at it. one of the reasons that lesnar is as "popular" as he is. he is a total pushover as a fighter and if the ufc had more restrictions on heavyweight weight limits he would not go any further in his career the only reason he has any wins to his credit is because hes a fucking gorilla

That's an old ass article man, Rampage vs Evans is still off the books as far as I know. Rashad is supposed to be fighting Thiago Silva at 108 now. That's just a fight to see which guy got more anihilated by Machida. I think Silva wins this one.

Hope you fuckers are planning on watching Fedor vs Rogers on Saturday night. Getting to see Fedor fight for free on network TV is gonna be better than the first time I saw a donkey show.
