I was raised a christian but i don't follow anything they do. then i realized one day how every story in the bible could be true if u "UN-exaggerated" all of the stories.... e.x (might want to be high when u read this)
the story of Adam and Eve... if they were the first 2 people on this earth, look at it this way. the apple was a metaphor for sex. BECAUSE... if ud never had sex before but u saw the opposite sex of u, u could put 2 and 2 together and realize that yours could go into hers. but farther back we go in time, the more strict, and more ridiculous the laws were, and thats where stories come from like santa claus. lets get back to topic though. having sex back then was FORBIDDEN. no one knew what it was, but it was considered a sin, and the worse one at that. and when the "ate" that apple...... ill let u figure the rest out. i dont know how to even explain half of what im thinking about it. |

What you just said sounds ridiculous.....BUT.......No more or less ridiculous than any and every other thing ive ever heard about religion....
Someone could say to me "GOD IS A HUGE GIANT BACKPACK WITH ANTENAS AND THE ARMS OF A MONKEY, GARDEN HOSE FOR LEGS AND A BED BALANCING ON HIS HEAD AND THIS CREATURE MADE THE UNIVERSE" and that would still sound no more or less ridiculous than someone saying "THERES A MAN OR SPIRIT OR BEING CALLED GOD AND HE MADE THE UNIVERSE AND THE EARTH AND ALL OF US, I DUNNO WHY THO, ITS PRETTY RANDOM AND WE HAVE NO PROOF OF IT BUT A BOOK WITH ALOAD OF STORY'S IN IT"......Thats just me anyway |

The guy is right in the sense that its a metaphor, but wrong with THAT metaphor.
The bible is a book of astrology, Jesus' birth tells us this.
The theory is that the 3 brightest stars on orions belt are the 3 kings, they have been called that for how long? Ok Jesus represents the sun, and at the turning of every age the star sirius (that the three kings follow to jesus' birth) the three kings and the sun all line up to the place of sun rise. Jesus being born is literally the sun rising at the turn of the age. Jesus once said.
"When I am gon you shall be greeted by a man with a pitcher of water" (more or less) Were in the age of pisces right now, after pisces comes aquarius which is depicted as a man with a pitcher of water. Yeah, the age of aquarius is gonna be at 2150.

1. People and animals always knew what sex was. It's our genetically-programmed method of keeping the species alive.
2. Why would God forbid sex as an evil activity, then programme us to have an overwhelming drive to have sex (with psychlogical consequences from never experiencing intimacy), and make it physically possible in the first place? God made us (supposedly); he would know that if you gave us a sex-drive as strong as ours, we'd inevitably succumb to it. Why sex is or ever was considered "evil", is beyond me. It's a bizarre, mentally-ill way of thinking imposed by nutjobs like Queen Victoria.

Most religions have some aspect of truth in them i believe. They are belief systems, they are like a finger pointing to something which can't be explained verbally because the words themselves are created from it. All religions are pointing to the same thing, Some of them just got a bit more corrupted along the way. | |

i was raised around religion my whole life and never really cared for it. my thing is religion is all about emotion and control. your preacher, priest or whatever his job is to stir up emotions and make you think they shit you do is wrong so you'll stay on the straight and narrow so that when you die you'll realize that your just dead and you are going anywhere else and everything you did was a waste of time.
now i'm not against religion just some of the ideas are completely ridiculous and listening to what my preacher says sometimes, they just sound absurd.
