I am just really curious to hear if anybody here has ever had any Paranormal or Spiritual experiences, and if so.. I would LOVE to hear. I am fascinated by this sort of thing.

Okay. Let me start out by saying I'm a complete skeptic.
I think seeing is believing. If I can see it, touch it, hear it- it must be real.

So idk what the hell is going on in my new apartment.

Me and my roommate moved in, I think... 4 months ago. And even in just that short amount of time, we've had some really strange things happen... Oh, did I mention I live in Oklahoma? Yeah. It's kind of impossible to live in OK without living on top of ten dead native americans.
So anyways. We have two cats, so when things started getting toppled over, we naturally just blamed it on them. Noises, shadows- we blamed it aaaaall on the cats.
Except this one time when I was watching television between unpacking, I heard the sound of someone touching cardboard. I thought it was a cat rubbing against a box, but when I looked over at it, one of the flaps of the box was slightly moving, as if it'd been touched, and both the cats were on the couch.
Kinda weird, but I ignored it. That night, I was in the kitchen making rice, and I thought I saw my roommate cross the hallway out of the corner of my eye. I even called out to get her attention, to ask her where she'd unpacked and put the forks, but she was on the phone in her room... not up and walking around the apartment.
Ignored it, of course. I said I was a skeptic, didn't I? Except later in the week, whatever was messing with me was starting to get annoying. I was scrolling through the TV guide, and when I'd try to click on a show I wanted to watch, the guide would scroll itself to a different channel. Like someone else was pressing buttons repeatedly on my remote.
Ignored it.
Until one day, my dealer came over. ( HAHAHA. ) She set one foot into our new apartment, then said- "Woah. Guys. There's a man in here." And she was staring into the hallway. FREAKED MY SHIT OUT, MAN.
I may be a skeptic, but when my dealer says something, I friggin' BELIEVE IT.
Later, we befriended our neighbors below us, and they said they'd had similar things happen to them.

So now every time I'm naked in my apartment, I feel strange and want to cover up.
Our cats stare off into space, and meow at people that aren't there.
It sucks sharing your space with people you can't see. Ha. Ahaha.

I've had like a few doors slam when no one was home and all the windows windows were shut.

I used to get really freaked out at night when I'd try to sleep thinking that the girl from the Exorcist was crawling on my floor around my bed. Not from smokng pot either I'd be completely straight, I'm kinda over it now because I'd force myself to sleep in a pitch black room.

I have not had many personal experiences that I couldn't pass off as something logical around me. I am just one of those people that refuses to believe there is nothing out there. I know there has to be more to our physical selves. I really believe that all the feelings and emotions we gather over the years forms an energy that carries on after we die. I refuse to believe anything less. Its not a religious thing, its totally spiritual.
I honestly believe that some people are just more vulnerable or more in tune with these energies. Hence spiritual and paranormal encounters.

My Mother and I lost my Dad a few years back now, and in the couple years following his death, almost EVERYTIME we left our house leaving the main entrance the street light right outside of our house would go out. It would come back on after a few minutes, as it was dark outside, and this happened continuously for a long time. I really do believe that it was my dad trying to let us know he was there. They say spirits, not being able to take any kind of physical form, will muster all the energy they can and mess with electrical things or other objects. It was a very comforting feeling that came with that light flicking out.

I really enjoy hearing the replies to this thread!

Lana, just remember that you and your room mates are in control of that apartment. Just know that no presence can harm or threaten you!!! I can't imagine it is a comfortable feeling all the time, but just know that you are in control!
Its nice to hear stories from other believers. I really appreciate it!

I have been in and around many documented haunted places in my life and only 1 time did I come upon actual proof. I saw and trapped a SHADOW animal only to discover he was no longer there and absolutely no way of escape but yet he was gone. Several people, tried to say I was too stoned and never saw what i saw. Surprisingly, after years of exposure, this was the truest experience, and no explanation for the end result.

Creepy topic but interesting!! I only had one crazy experience when I was young, living in LA. I remember waking up in the middle of the night, using the restroom and then going back to bed. The whole time, I felt this odd, weary presence so i jumped back into bed as quickly as possible. As i closed my eyes, I heard a few footsteps and felt and heard the mattress spring crackling, as if someone was sitting on the end of the bed. Whatever it was, it stayed there for a few seconds and then went away!!! Could have been the settling of the mattress, but I remember it as if it was last night, and still get creeped out about it.

It may be your environment.There might be faulty electrical wiring in your apartment, which is creating an electromagnetic field, which is causing you to hallucinate. There may also be clusters of infrasound. If your neighbors are reporting similar events, this would be consistent with poor building infrastructure.

Over the years I've experienced a lot of paranormal activity in my house. Most of them could have logical explanations behind them but there are a few that i could not explain.
For example me and my friend were sat in my room one day just chatting and suddenly we heard loud foot steps coming from the stairs and they were getting louder. It sounded like someone was stomping up the stairs. We both though it was my brother but when he didn't come in the room we got a bit worried and stood up. But at the same time as we stood up we heard what we thought was someone running back down the stairs. We both look around the house for someone but no one was there. No one believed us when we told them!

These people I used to hang out with, that you couldnt really call my friends but I guess i thought were at the time had rented a house in town. one day they left and i stayed and was sitting in the chair playing ps2. The back door opens and i hear someone running down the hall and plop on the bed, and they were crying and shit. First thing I think of is fuckin great they are fighting again. So I ignored it. I saw the chick get up and run past the door and then the back door slams shut at the exact minute my two friends come back from the store. Nobody was with them and i even ran out the back door looking for whoever it was that had just been in there but found nobody. The screen door was still open when I got to the door, and their yard was so big that the person would have had to run a good minute before they got out of site.

Then another night in the same house we were all sitting at the kitchen table and I was rolling a blunt. Their fridge had the ice dispenser where u push the lever and ice or water would come out. I saw something move out of the corner of my eye and the lever was being pushed back by something, and ice started running everywhere.

Needless to say I didn't go back in that house much after that
