So I recently got a wild hair up my A$$ to start growing my own herb. I don't really smoke alot (the man's got me down), I used to, so I'm pretty much doing it for pride and validation for when I do smoke it. Anyways...

I will be growing in soil and from what I've heard fox farms is the way to go. I have a 600W HPS Ventilated setup that I ordered from HTG Supply, it should show up on Tuesday. I live alone and have a second bathroom so I'll be growing in the second bathroom, in the tub. I can replenish the air with the fan that's already built into the bathroom. The problem I face is that I'll be working out of town Monday through Thursday so I was wanting to setup an automatic watering system. I watched the "greenman" videos and they were very informative. I was thinking a system similar to his hydroponic setup, with a small pump, some tubing and a timer. My questions is, should I set it up to spray both the soil and the plant? I was thinking I could mist the water on the plant and drip into the soil. Or should I just drip into the soil? Sorry this got a little long winded, I would appreciate any advice.

concentrate on just the soil. There is no need in waterin the plant itself because the water it needs it will get through the roots. Actually, I can't think of any reason what so ever you would need to spray water directly on the plant. Just a waste of water to me. Anyway good luck
