wats ur views on this ..theres only a cpl of + things to bein single for me personally which r ......... weed is ur own (unless ya toke with others) stress free shit..do ur own thing wen ya want.... negatives r ....... havin to roll yer own j's... bein alone ,,no sex life (unless ya put it out which i dont)....cant think of more positives or negatives of the top of my head...lol wats everyone elses view/comment?   |

I've been not single forever (married 28 years) ,,, and don't regret the choice, but at some point, death will separate my wife and I and the survivor will live single .... we've both talked about this and will embrace it when the time comes .... living single allows one to walk their path in life without the push/pull of others .. thoughtfully, spiritually and independently ...
In my opinion, a full life requires periods of singleness as well as committed relationship(s) ... needing one to really appreciate the other ..

+tives...... bank balance deteriorates slower. no walkin on egg-shells at "that time of the month"...... no over usin of the excuse..."its that time of the month"(even when we know its not!!!, believe me ladies we know...we got it timed more than u have!!!) to get away with bein moody....missin random encounters...... talkin about celebrities/nail varnish/shoes/shampoo/Girls mags...(apart from the problem page section, which is tooooooooooooo funny!!!) -tives........ no real meaningful sex,....the stability,......the boss cuddles, bein in love, that woman's touch....(be honest lads, we all need it!!!!),....the smile on yer face wen ur fone rings and her names on the screen,....and the bigger smile when u answer it. regular HEAD,....... she still loves ya if ur drunk as fuk and cant get a root-on.....(or u piss the bed  )....the fact that u aint gotta go lookin for random encounters.......but mainly.....BOOOOBS...(quite possibly the greatest thing in the world....a plything...THAT U CAN SLEEP ON...cheers god!!!!

I think being single can be lonely...I remember not really caring for it much. It's in my nature to want to be the ying to someone else's yang.
On the other hand, if you're single, the possibilities are wide open for you. When you're in a relationship, you've made a choice, and there you are.

i agree with everything you said except i dont mind having to roll my own joints. i dont get out much so i dont see to many women and my babys momma has sorta left me. i live in a college town so all the girls here want to party if your gonna meet a girl the best bet is to goto the bars but the problem there is your only gonna find a bunch of drunk idiots so its no use. being single sucks thats all i gotta say. | |

I've been single for a year and a few months now and it just sucks. The first 6 months or so were ok because it gave me time to figure things out about myself but now I'm sick of myself and it's just lonely. I can't think of any positives anymore. Also, then I start getting down on myself for being single and that makes me less appealing, so it becomes a vicious cyle. And I hate vicious cycles.

Dude, you got years and years left to come. I can honestly say......there are times when I'd rather be single and there are times when I dont want to be single.
Personally I want to get married and have kids, I've never been the type of guy to just HOOK UP with someone, I prefer meaningful relationships.
Everyone views relationships differently, to some maybe being in one is the best feeling and that they cant be alone, to others, too much time with that special someone becomes stressful and causes problems. Theres no real way to say that single life is better or a relationship is better.
If its physical contact you crave, find a friend of the opposite sex (or same sex whatever you prefer) and casually take that somewhere else.....its like a relationship but no strings attatched and usually you stay friends in the end.....I found the two relationships I had like that happened to be better than the actual boyfriend girlfriend relationships I had up til now.
I guess its your own preference. Personally I dont mind being single but I do want to have kids, and I'm a man of Christian values and morals so I prefer to be married before I have kids.
Either way, masturbation is a very important part in keeping yourself happy, not every man or woman can satisfy their partner 100% of the time, and sometimes DIY is better than the actual thing.
