I've been copping bud for some time and i still don't know for sure what piff is... It comes from mostly ghetto dudes and it always has the same smell. Almost like a really pungent chemically tangy scent. Anyone know what i've been smoking??

Urban Dictionary: piff

I caution you when smoking bud that has a chemical smell to it. If they are calling it piff then it should be purple haze. If it is not purple then they may be mixing chemicals in your weed to get you high and selling it has high grade chronic, when in fact it could be reggie and be laced with god knows what. How much did you pay for it?

$10.00 for .6 but the strange thing is that this weed always looks really good but it always has the same hint of chemicals. I think they're selling good bud but there maybe shit on it because it always has the same smell, texture, taste, burn

btw, i usually don't buy piff but yesterday everybody was dry so it was my last hope.

I think we are looking at the term "piff" in a different context. To me it is purple haze. No purp I have smoked has had a chemical smell to it. If your idea of piff is a cheap bag of pot then I would be finding some different connections.

New York uptown haze is piff, you from NYC buddy? Its commercial haze thats been grown there for years.

I'm from CT so its probably the same stuff a majority of my friends say that its grown with opium thats why it has the distinct smell and taste. Most of it comes from Hartford though so it probably is coming in from New York

Not possible. It is legend in the Afghan region that Kush strains have opioid properties because it was grown next to opium poppies for so long. But ultimately not gonna happen.

Granted cross breeding of Genera can be done, but it really depends on the structure of the plant. Basically, a plant crossed like this by humans would have some heavy characteristics from its Genus. an example is radish was crossed with cabbage and the scientists couldn't get the thing to not grow cabbage leaves and short dinky roots, so it did not thrive, Nature can do this and has done this through evolution, but its just not gonna happen with some families crossing. Too complicated and unstable to be effective. And the guarantee of getting fertile offspring is also an issue. the plant wont reproduce by itself, most of the time.
