Hello, I am having some trouble with seeds stalling after they crack.

I put them in water and within 12 hours they crack and I transfer to wet papertowels in aluminum foil. The root pops out about 1/32 of an inch and just stops.

I have them about 80 degrees, the paper towls are wet, but not dripping.

What am I doing wrong? SHould they be warmer, dryer?

Where are you keeping them and at what temperature to begin with? Also, why the foil? Just curious.
