HI PEOPLE.
I HAVE NEVER GROWN LOWRYDER SO A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS
CAN I PICK THE CENTRE TO DOUBLE THE TOP
HAS ANY ONE TRIED CLONING (I KNOW THEY SAY YOU CANT)
HOW TALL DO THEY GO
WHAT IS THE AVG YIELD

I did a Low-Grow earlier this year. 10 beans outta 10 popped 5 were girls and I kept the best male for seedcrop.

In 2 gallon pots tallest was about 18"- shortest 12" I got about a half oz per lady (seeded). I tried to clone 4 lower branch tips when female flowers began at 21 days from seed no luck all died.

I don't think any pruning will help these plants produce any more buds like an indica or sativa would.

The smoked bud are smooth and taste is great but the potency is comparable to roadweed. You need to smoke twice as much for a standard buzz.

Don't get me wrong, these autoflowering plants have their place, just not in any more of my grows.

For a start they are too small for realistic cloning,id say yeah youll get roots but to what end.
Was the whole point of these plants not to make it possible with those with limited space to grow,and still get a lil bud?

none of the Lowryders types I tried were worth the trip

A few places now are breeding lowryder with stuff like master kush and AK-47 and the bud is supposed to be more potent than regular lowryder. There is no way to clone it as its autoflowering. Nothing short of killing it will stop it from going into flower, therefore the genes in the clones you are tryin to do are predisposed and already headed into the flower cycle. I have been wanting to grow some of the low ryder master kush just to see what its like. Lowryder itself i wouldnt waste my time with though. But i prefer the stronger strains anyway

Since they don't have much of a veg period, if one at all, I would say lay off any cutting. They won't have enough time to regrow shoots big enough to be comparable to a main cola.

i have tried the Lowryder AK and lowryder MK and they are indeed marginally more potent than the original but still low potency low yield

I love my LR2. The plants tend to very by breeder, but i avg about 18". Ive topped before, but never got much more out of it. As the plant doesnt have time to heal from the topping, as its life is based on time, and you really have no control over its cycles. Smallest yield on one plant was 11g, most was 36g. Normally about 20g. My fem rate is good, about 80%, but feel that has more to do with the env than the seed as sex is never det with this plant from seed. Sex starts around week 3. Sorry but Lowryder and all the LR crosses are low yield, low potency plants. Check out the Iranian Short Season for something with better yield and much better potency
