I was just wondering if someone could set the story straight with this. People have told me its extinct but I don't really believe it. Does purple haze still exist?

So many different stories out there. From what I know, there still is a purple haze...just not the original. Supposedly feds raided dudes house who produced purple haze back when and destroyed all his plants/clones/seeds...therefore the original purple haze from the days is gone. But someone crossed some plants and called their stuff purple haze so the name lives on.

I agree THC, also some dealers will get a purp strain not knowing what it is and just call it purple haze so they can sell it for more.

Thanx 4 the link bro, never know when good info comes in handy. On the brighter side, I'm workin' on Purple Haze strain here from scratch...got the Haze babies to 8' now in 20 gallon tubs inna greenhouse....gonna cross em with Purple Kush ASAP. The Flying Duchman has the Original Haze beans 4 sale...pure landrace sativas, man are they gorgeous....lookin 4ward 2 makin the crosses an backcrosses 2 stabilize em. Just a lil 3 year science experiment but wtf why not.

Most stuff we get around Toronto is Indica couchloks...thats fine smoke in it's own right, but some trippy daytime buzzin is a good thing too. Trouble is the real loooooooong cycle times are not attractive to commercial growers on the east side of the continent. Faster turnovers = more profit....go figure when the capitalist mindset kicks in there is a price to be paid.
