HPS Grow also LED testing

Some pice of Blueberry and also some of LED Testing I am doing. The big room is the HPS, I just started to test a new LED. It was made for commercial use I asked the guy if he thought it would grow plants, he was not fer suregave me a good price to try 2 of them. They do great for seeding and cloning and veggie now I need to see if it can do what my HPS does. I have 2 locations that I am growing.

I am in Colorado and I am running a test. Norm.. I use GH products but wanted to see how good this Canna was. First thing I notice is my leaves started to turn yellow. So I asked Canna supplier he said over here in the states our water is to clean so I need to bump up to max on nutes. then I took PH and it was WAAY low below 4. It seems like a pain in the backside, GH I have 3 bottles this stuff I have 4 to 5 depends on veggie or flower.
If you are using it for Aqua what have you notice and are you going to stay with it.

after a few days i started to notice a few spots of what is called dust mold ..it's starting to get everywhere on a couple plants how do i get rid of it rather than spending money on something ...its in a basement should i put a fan or turn on heat in the room

been out to my grow room this morning.didnt go yesterday for one reason or another ,one of my white widdow mothers has completley dried out half the leaves have shrivelled up .i have sprayed and watered do you think it will recover and any other handy hints for such a sad eventuality would be good. even though this will never happen again . ;stars

Kno How To Gro?

I have been trying to grow for a while now but i wait like 6 weeks n nothing comes up one time it started then i dumped it out and found a stem looking thing:( but i dont really kno what im doing.

im starting to go into selling but i dont want to keep on having to buy ounces from a guy when i could grow it myself n b pure profit..

so can anyone instruct me how to grow in a closet?

:confused::confused::confused: Ok so, I'm a first time grower and I'm having a MASSIVE wilting issue plus some yellowing in the top leaves and new growth with my two bigger clone plants, it started when I added an outdoor only rose food called: Bayer Advanced, All-in-One Rose and Flower Care.

From what I know my set up is enough as far as light goes, I have two four foot two bulb florescent lights and a single 29 gallon aquarium light from my original set up (It was tiny so I decided to upgrade significantly), not sure on the actual light output though. I also have three sheets of mylar to maximize my reflectivity.

For heat I'm using a small heat pad and that seems to work really well at keeping my grow area at an even 70 degrees.

I'm using a premium Transplant mix fro my soil since I started out with clones and I'm using the same with the baby's I grew myself from seeds. As for PH, I have no money to get anything to test that so I have no idea and I'm not sure what info you need on nutrients.

Natural Outdoor Grow?

Hey all. I've been thinking of simply walking out into the woods behind my home and planting some Cannabis seeds. I'm not entirely sure if I'll ever return to the to collect any herb, I might, I might not. Just not sure yet. I just want the plants to grow. I wont bother to maintain them as I just want Mother Nature to take Her course.

I have some simple questions I hope to have answered. =)

When should I go to the woods and plant my seeds, what time or year?
What kind of light will the plants need? It is a forest.. not a deep, thick forest but still, we're talking trees here.

How deep should I put the seeds into the Earth?

Is there anything specific that I should avoid or look for when it comes down to a location for planting them?

And whatever else advice that you can give me would be helpful. Thanks! <3

Sick Plants

Okay. I've done a couple of flouro grows before, so I'm not a complete noob, but I'm no expert either. I've got some sick plants. They were all doing fine at first, but 4 out of 5 are getting pretty bad leaf burn. They were all treated the same and were just transplanted from the nursery 6-pack starter trays to 1 liter plastic pots. The soil is fresh Miracle Grow pre-fertilized garden soil. I have added nothing but fresh water. The strain is...well...I have no idea. They were just seeds picked from purchased mid grade bud. I have lined the closet completely with white plastic and am using a recycled satellite dish as a reflector with a total of 9 26 watt CFL bulbs for a total light output of 1570-ish lumens. I have a 25 watt green incandescent bulb in there too to keep it warm at night. Temp stays stable at about 75F and humidity is normal. I dont want them too big before they start budding because of the low light output, so I put them on 12-12 2 days ago. Included is a close-up pic of one of the plants and a pic of the overall grow setup. I just watered and misted them, so that's why there's water in the tray. I don't let them stay that way long term. If you want to know something I didn't mention, just ask me.

Hi am new here and I was interested in starting a new indoor project and I was interested in knowing if anybody Has anybody used this type of Hydro-Bucket self-watering container. and if they work and how good are they. I heard they are the best. Could not find anything on the search. Heard about them in High TimesThanks for youe help.

hey guys
having a real dilema, have a clone veg for 4 weeks real healthy,pre flowered.changed light cycle to 12 hour 7 weeks later still no sign of flowering,nowhite pistles no nothing. just keeps growing any ideas on how to make this bloody plant do something.never had any trouble with this before,im completley stumped.any ideas greatflly accepted.happy highs,,,,,:confused:

a few weeks back i removed what turned out to be a male but now that my plants are a few weeks in to flower i have found seeds on both plants.

quite a few on one and only 5-7 seeds on the other and the one that has quite a few only seems to have them on the lower branches.

will the bud off them now be useless ?

Reasons males are bad?

I heard male plants should be killed and not even grown so that they don't bud and pollunate the female or something. I am not clear on this, explain?

I also heard the buds from the males are no good to get high off, is this true? thanks

so i decided to start my first lil mini projct.
got a plant light from ACE with a light fiture setup..has a kinda blue tint to the bulb but lights really bright.
then i used some miriclegro potting soil.
will this be good for a first start jsut to get into the hobby of growing?
and also can sumone tell me a good light scheldul for germinated seeds once they go in the pottery?

any other info will be appreciated thanks:)
