we have two different locations for flower and veg, and we just moved them into our flowering room. We are only now just noticing what seems to be a severe nutrient deficiency or lockout. I'll give the specs of both rooms:
Veg:
there are four 2'x4' ebb, and flo tables hooked into a 70 gal. res. One 400W HPS, and two 150W compact fluorescents. We were using ionic grow, cal mag, hygrozyme and a touch of liquid karma. We TDS our water to around 550 ppm. pH was between 5.5-5.9. Temperature remained about 78F, with 45% humidity.
Flower:
Three 4'x4' ebb and flo tables, lined with coco coir mats. 5 600W HPS lights, air cooled. We are slowly starting to switch our nutes from veg to flower. This room is more or less sealed so we use supplemental CO2. Our room dimensions are 16'x8'x6' high. Our flow rate is set at .6 every 3 hours for 15 minutes. We also introduced RO water in the flowering stage. We are mixing ionic grow, ionic bloom, cal mag, sweet, and atami bc grow supplements. We have a 10,000 BTU a/c in the room and it remains at 80F-82F with 35% humidity.
Problems:
just before moving plants we noticed a severe downward cupping and curling affecting the entire plant, but started near the tops. Also, we are noticing interveinal chlorosis, yellowing, and twisting. The yellowing is almost entirely at the top of the plants, and is also accomponied by curling and downward cupping.
We have been doing online research for several days and are almost convinced this is some kind of micro nute deficiency, the pictures that most closely resemble our plants are listed as iron deficiency. Our pH is not too high. Also, our TDS is not dropping, at all, and these plants are almost 40 days old. Could it be the shock from transplant is forcing them not to drink nutes? We also flushed with clearex two days ago and gave the girls a good foliar spraying with some thrive alive. I will post pics later tonight. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

TDS is a good istrument to measure dissolved heavier minerals such as sodium ( salt) but I think maybe you need to get a PPM meter instead of a TDS meter. its been so long since I have screwed with Ebb & flow. BUT from what I know about coco is it holds salts VERY well, so maybe try just flushing your medium with some PH balanced water STRAIT to the medium( it will flow down into your res. of coarse, so make sure you have room for the water your using for flushing- or better yet- hook your ebb & flow to a hose ( bypassing the res) and have the overflow from the leeching of the medium run into a bucket. dump the buckets out- the water run off is going to be so full of salt & unused nutes so its not worth cycling threw again.
hope this helps.

Some confusion there bline,
EC/TDS is measured in parts per millon.
The conversions are differant one meter uses 0.5 the other 0.7.
peace.
miked, how many plants are you running from your rez?
I agree with bline,if in doupt flush er out!
peace,love an thc!

Im not being funny but Ionic rings alarm bells, they are full of synthetic nutrients with is why you are seeing the problems you are, imm.
In each pic I see differant things but your feeding program is effecting them all.Dont pannic.
It looks like you are usuing too many products, your medium should be covered but you can see salt on your pebbles.
To fix mirco diff, you need a massive dose of mirco nutes, which isnt formulated so your best bet is to flush your system then run on 1/2 strenth for a day then up ppm's.
If you want to know specificicly in which pic say as there are a few issues, bear in mind wats done is done and you can only improve from now on.
Less is more as far as some strains are concerned, keep this in mind.
The first pic looks fine, the problems seem to be ph realted aswell.
Regulate ph allways as it effects the plant ability to eat.
Remember .1 is 10 times outa range!
peace.

G.H have a great product called bio essientials,it contains all the micro nutes in chealate form,im sure there are others which do the same job.
It'll take a few days to notice the effectiveness of the flush, check your rez after feeds to make sure its not nute lock.
Id also advise taking notes,ie,ph levels, ppm each day as this will help with any future problems. From the last two pics, they look like they were being overfed.
Hope things are getting better.
peace,love an thc.
