I've got two bc shunk seeds coming up , but one won't loose its shell.As you can see ones growing and ones not.Should I help her or would that hurt her.
thanks for any advise.

frustrating isnt it? it will eventually shed it, but misting it with spray bottle will speed up the process..some like to wear their hats a lil longer than others.lol

I would say that whatever is under that shell is very tender. once the leaves grow bigger and shell is just hanging on (if at all), then gentley pull it off with a pair of tweezers.

tweezers... or a bamboo skewer will pop that sucker off

I am just saying that I remember this happening when my seedlings sprouted. The seed husk fell off on its own in plenty of time. I suggested tweezers if he/she was impatient, but I find patience is a virtue when growing and it is a good idea to practice it often.

I've had good resluts misting for a few days then pulling the cap off. Leaving that thing on there to restrict the rapidly growing seedling is like having a dominatrix cinch up your dangle in a leather belt then try to get you hard.

Only you can come up with that welby lmao

Think of it this way man, with that shell on she's obviously not getting light to the right area, take some tweezers as others have said and remove that cap before it dies from lack of light.

Tweezers=problem solved
