ok, first my set up (if you can even call it that)

2 4 foot florescent tubes both are philips natural sunshine 40 watt, 5000k on color temperature, and says its also known as full spectrum, sunshine, sunlight. each tube is pushing 2200 lumens.

i have 4 seedlings about 3-4 inches tall, and they are 3 or 4 weeks old!

now, because of some law difficulty, they spent a few days outdoors in the cold, or in a space with no light, but only 3 days and 2 were outside in sunlight.

i was used an ott light to sprout them but it didnt give off enough light for them after they got up to an inch or 2.

they are in organic soil, and i just mixed vermeculite in to help the roots breath and drain ect.

since thay are a few weeks old i started using very deliuted miracle gro on them today, also the new lights have only been on them for maybe 12 hrs, so i may be scared for nothing,


but as a noobie let me tell others not to make this mistake!

DO NOT BUY PHILIPS INCANDESCENT AGRO-LITES, they burned and dryed my plants, so they will prolly all come out male, but im just surprised i have even kept em alive this long,

they are seeds out of dank iv bought over the years, but im on a budget so i cant speed a million dollars on a ballast, hydro kit (unless someone has good cheap plans to make one) HPS lights ect cause im not trying to get a cannabis cup winner, i just wanna get stoned off something i grew

Welcome to the sport. I'd check out the faqs here, and then maybe find a grower that has the same setup as yourself and sorta follow him around and see how its done. Any specific Q's or problems might be posted in the appropriate forum, and i'm sure someone will help. Grow em tall.

can anyone tell me if the lights i have are ok? im still not seeing any growth and i want to return them if i need too,

any other tips to get them back on track growing faster will be appreciated, iv had the philips natural sun floro tubes on them for about 3 days abput 1" above the plants because they are streched and i havent moved it because they havent even grown an inch

never had a problem with agro's... try not placing lights so close to bulbs.... don't let em touch.. new growth on plants r very tender....

check out my plants in the photo gallery im growing the same way you are look for photo gallery called clernace shelf homegrown the only thing i did differnt is the soil i used mg they grow slow at first then took off put on 12/12 light today 41 days after germanition i would suggest no fert for aleast a month heres some pics

I'd use perlite, vermiculite holds more moisture.
