Aloha, I am new to this forum. I have looked around for an answer finding no relief.
So I have a few questions for the professionals. First, the picture was taken yesterday and the 2 plants are at the end of their 2nd week of flowering. 12/12 light cycle, one 600w hps and one 4' t5. The temp. stays around 88f. Constant air flow.
Still the plants do not look as healthy as my outdoor. The leaves are not reaching for the light and they look thin. Could this be from a lack of space, too much light intensity, co2 deficiency, do they need light added under the canopy or something that I cannot see? This is what I am here for. Any help would be greatly appreciated. O and one more question, these are anonymous strains.... can anyone take a shot at identifying them?

If you had looked through our plant problem threads in the FAQ you would have found what you was looking for.
Looks like nitrogen deficiency to me which is normal in flower phase of growing.
Trying to figure out what strain they might be is harder than finding a needle in a haystack or getting blood from a stone.

What you mentioned does get me thinking... however my plants are regularly fed foxfarm products which contain nitrogen. Should this not be enough nitrogen everyday? Everything is measured. Plus I thought plant should only become nitrogen deficient towards the end of flowering. Would giving them seaweed fertilizer help?... Taking away some light?.... a lot of the larger leaves have fallen off already. this seems too soon...
any stab at this would be greatly appreciated.

88 is pretty high, but i'm not sure taking away the t5 would help that much..600's get pretty warm if you cant exaust more air try taking the t5 out for a day ot two and see if that helps

Always listen to what the plant is telling you , so when she is a tad yellow try and eliminate the causes Nr1. nitrogen dificency Nr2. ph is out of wack. Nr3 overwatering .
When you said you thought that they only needed extra N in the last weeks of flowering that tells me you listen to books but you should listen to what your ladies are saying no matter what stage they are in .

Mahalo | Howzit pacificsuppr,
I'm looking at those pics and trying to decide ailment. I'm thinking "heat stress"myself. First off, what island are you on? This is important so I can establish a weather pattern for your island & area. Do you have an AC blowing in there too? I need to know all that stuff to really make a "spot on" acesssment!
The last thing you wanna do is go into "pannick mode"( let try a little of this fert, and a little of this fert). Relax, take a deep breathe, and enjoy the beauty of your plant[s].

As Smokey said they look N deficient, and as Mike said the temps are too high. 75 is what it should be at most, 80 is pushing it and 88 will kill it.
