Those are some blurry photos but I say it's a girl. If you can get your camera to focus on the nodes instead of the background, we'll be in business. If it's your cell phone, try taking the photos from an arms length away from the plant.

I'm with Osprey it looks female but hard to tell, clearer pictures will help but look again at this pic from the FAQ and it shows you clearly what to look for.
