haha that happened to me once, I thought i was growing pot and it turned out to be cherry tomatoes! (oh well.. at least i had a salad going..)

That's know pepper plant I've ever seen. I have all types of pepper plants out back. Well.. not all types, but a lot of em.

doesnt really look like any type of plant in my yard now... theres two limbs at the bottom close to the dirt thats about 4-5 inches long, and the plant has grown up to about 6-7 now, still basically the same looking tho, it just keeps repeating the same exact sets of leaves... but growing a few limbs and little white hairs along with longer hairs on tha leaves, its weird. ill post a pic in a few and if anyone can identify it thatd be great
