Yeah... I'm still having problems >.< I have 4 pots of dirt total, all with a little fertilizer put in over a month ago and watered every other day. It's under a MH light, 400 watts. One of my seedlings was falling over, so I staked it up with a piece of string & a paperclip and now she's back to being that dark, pretty, happy green.
Her neighbor in the same pot wasn't falling over, so didn't get any special treatment, lol. BUT! Now she is less further along and turning a kinda sickly yellow-green. Is it just a difference in seeds? I just used some seeds from a few different bags I'd been saving because I figured we'd have too many problems to warrent buying any our first time, lol.

Well for one you should never put two plants in the same pot. They tend to fight over root space and it causes tremendous stress on the plant. My guess would be to take that plant and transplant it to a pot by itself.

Stoner Buck$$: 434.45 | Re: 2 plants, same pot, 1 green one yellow? I've put several plants in one pot and had it work out fine, I'd leave them alone. I think the stress of separating them would be worse. Give them some more fertilizer. Do you have a fan circulating air, gently moving the plants so they grow stronger stalks? If you have have plants falling over, you either have
A. Weak Seeds (very possible with bagseed)
B. No air movement in growing area
C. Not enough Nitrogen | |

I wouldnt put any plants in the same pot unless your gonna do some LST or theyre in a reasonable size flower bed or some thing, but generally if you put 2 seeds in the same pot they will fight each other for food and space!

One plant one pot is probably best. But if you are thinking about separating them after they've been together for awhile.... I would just leave them together.
If you're talking about a pot that's not big enough to support both root systems, then you could repot the whole lot into another single, larger pot. | |

Yes, I have a fan circulating the air, but I didn't for the first part of the growing process so that would explain the weaker stalks. I checked this evening, and the yellow one has little white spots on the leaves, as do the 2 oldest plants in a different pot. I am keeping them together until they show gender so I can just pull out the males and clip the hermies. The pots are large, the seedlings are small, and I don't have any problems with the pots next to them that have 3 seedlings each.
I talked to my stepdad today and he said that the white spots might be a fungus >.< Blarg, I didn't expect to have this many problems! lol. They are still only seedlings, the largest having only tiny 3-forked leaves so far, so I hesitate to put some fertilizer in the pots in case they can't handle it >.<

if your plants are that young and already have fungus, pull em and clean the grow area with bleach and water. Then clean the pot themselves and replant. If fungus isnt taken care of the older the plants get the worse the problem will become

Sorry to hear your dilemma Lilly, but I think I have to agree with Mazar on this one. You've had so many problems so early on.. if I was you I'd start over from scratch, and change a few things.
Clean the room from top to bottom, and anything you will put in it.
Since nearly all or all of your plants are having problems it might be your soil. Maybe getting some new soil would be a good idea.

Thanks guys. I'll probably see what the few that are doing ok will do, there are only 3 out of about 12 that aren't doing so well. I have noticed a BIG improvement with the proper MH light and watering cycle. My stepdad said if they're strong, they might pull through the fungus and still do ok, so who knows. Just more learning experiences lol.
