yellow/shrively leaves. nutrients or water?

Hey again. >,< More problems, pointing to the ever-present fact that we're growing newbs. I've attached a couple pics this time. I've been reading the forums here and I can't decide if it's too much nutrients (we haven't added any fertilizer since before they sprouted) or too much water (I try to only water when the top part of the soil gets dry but that happens often being under the light). Any help would be appreciated. I want to fix whatever we're doing wrong quickly before it affects the plant more. So far it's just this one plant and just the very bottom 2 leaves - thanks!

They look just like mine did after they sprouted, the two "Seed sides" as i like to call them just wilt and die. I could be mistaken however

I had that problem so I just add a little more plant food and they perked right. Hope that helps.

We have been using the jobe sticks for food, and some store bought fetilizer, but I was told that too much fertilizer can burn them out when they're this small. So should I add another jobe stick? It's been a week or so since we added the last one.

I don't know... I've lost over 10 sprouts this month These 2 are from the original batch, I am just worried about them.

Re: yellow/shrively leaves. nutrients or water?

I wouldn't worry about the 2 embryo leaves to much. They will die off along with more of the bottom leaves as your plant grows bigger. If something starts affecting the serrated leaves toward the tops then you may have a problem.

nutes can kill plants during the seedling stage so be careful. Never start with a full strength solution.

You can usually judge how much water is left by lifting the pot. If it feels really light then it probably needs water.
