I love rats, ok. I live alone in a 2 room apartment, and they have their own room. well, its technically my office, but their cage takes up a good 6 square feet. Anyway, a buddy of mine recently harvested a good size crop and hooked me up with a pound(Woohoo! I don't have to buy weed this year) and I decided to experiment on the girls by mixing an 1/8th into some peanut butter and placing it in the cage. Before I even put the dish with the tainted peanut butter down on the feeding platform, they( all 6 of them) were swarming around it like it was the cure for cancer. They went nuts for hours, jumping around and squeaking like mad (rats are usually very quiet). Now, every time I walk into their bedroom with some herb in my pocket, they go nuts and start reaching out of the cage with their little rat hands.
Anybody else ever get their rodents high? And if so, what happened?

Any bit will do. You have to understand that rats are used for the testing of human drugs because of the striking similarities in the two nervous systems/body chemistry. I always give my rats 1/4 of a gram each. But they have eaten a gram to the head in the past.

Haven't fed my 3 ratties any weed, but they do like the smoke. I'll occasionally smoke them up and blow it into the cage, and they hang on the bars on whatever side I'm blowing from and stick their noses out.

I read that THC reduces mammary tumors in rats. Which is good because I have all girls
