Here are some pictures of my furbabies. Solomon was our first Golden. We work with golden retriever rescue, and also with our local humane society (hence the other three dogs which are all rescues). I encourage everyone to adopt a shelter pet and give these great animals a second chance.
Just an FYI, I'm new to this forum and look forward to getting to know everyone.

Black clothes? What are those? And you mean furniture isn't supposed to have fur? LOL
You're right, pup fur is in abundance at my house. I am constantly chasinging fluffy tumbleweeds across the kitchen floor. If you can't tolerate dog hair, DON'T get a golden!! They are wonderful dogs, though.
Mr. Snake, however, doesn't shed, doesn't bark, doesn't have to go out or be walked, and doesn't take up so much room in the bed that I fall off the side. But then again, he can't give puppy kisses.
Did you ever notice that sometimes your dog sits and stares at you like he/she thinks you are totally nuts? Kind of like Solomon is doing to me right now??

Ohhh yeah I know that feeling, my cat does it to me all the time....especially when I talk to him. (talking to pets stoned is fun)

I have to say that I have considered saving all the fur from when I brush them (you wouldn't believe how much I get in one session) and having a sweater made out of it. Seriously!!! There are places you can send it to that will spin yarn out of it and make sweaters, scarves, etc. They all have beautiful, soft, red/gold fur and would make a lovely warm sweater. And besides, if I wore that I wouldn't have to worry about getting dog hair all over me!!! LOL
Anyone want some dog hair?
