Re: Growing in the woods

they don't need a full day of direct sunlight but the more they get the more you'll harvest, in general. 4 hours of direct and a good ambient light will be enough for a worthy harvest...

and it's way too late to plant an outdoor crop now. perhaps if you had some clones that are ready to go outside then you'd be in business but most, if not all plants have already begun flowering.

the best time to plant is in may or as soon as ground temps are above 50f degrees...

Re: Growing in the woods

I have my plants growing in the woods right now, but they are in a spot where they are really exposed to the sun, but hidden as well. Its just a prime spot in the woods. Without the sunlight exposure, they may not turn out as great.
We put our plants in the ground in June, and they are budding now... probably should/will be pulled sometime in mid September I would say. Also depends on the weather.
Hope your crop works out And I hope that all made sense, haha.

Peace and Pot.

Re: Growing in the woods

No you need good sunlight, you need to find a break in the canopy so they get good sunlight, get some good pest prevention products too, I been battling bugs all dam year. Neem oil didnt do the job too well, I had to get some Liquid Sevin.

Edit: Definitely too late now, unless you live in SoCal or Miami Beach, its probably too late.
