You want to make sure it is old composted poo not fresh. The fresh poo will burn a plant up. Also more chance of bugs or unwanted seeds in your mix if it's fresh. So look for the old shit and mix with some good top soil, perlite, worm castings, bat guanos, blood, bone meal and then you will have a mix that will last the entire grow with out having to add extra nutes this is called 100% orgainic growing...lol...take care..

I use Pennington brand. Blood meal is for vegg stage it is a high Nitrogen source mine is rated 12-0-0 on the NPK scale. Bone meal is used to promote flowering it's NPK is 6-18-0. If you layer these along with some other products then you have a soil that will call for less if any extra nutes through out the grow cycle, all you need to do is water and keep PH in check. For more info look into organic soil mix's. or check the web for a man that calls himself "Sub Cool"and "Mizz Jill" they have mastered the use of these and a few other products for organic soil mix's (30 yrs research put into this method). He is also a well known breeder and sells seeds under TGA seeds. Some of the best smoke I have ever had in my life and I have been growing and smoking for 30 yrs ...take care..

"Sub Cool" would be the first to tell you you cant give the plant all it needs in a premix, nearly but not quite.
MJ requires diff elements in diff forms at diff stages, sure itll let them bloom but additives in diff forms need to be added in water for max production.my 2 cents.
All the best.
