Surely I'm not the only one here who loves to pop pills eh? I don't mean like you enjoy it when you do pop them, but that you need to pop a lot of them on a daily basis just to get by. I know very well that it's a terribly unhealthy lifestyle, but with all my chronic pain, depression, and anxiety/panic attacks, I simply couldn't function if I didn't have them.


So, who'll come into the thread and make me feel less alone? What do you pop and why? How much?


I ran out of oxycontins and percocets 5 days ago, and have hence spent the last 4 days completely dry. Ohhhhh boy it can be hard at times. So today I've taken quite a lot of other things to supplement it, which are:


- 12 Kratom extract pills
- 12 Tramacets (37.5mg tramadol hcl, 325mg acetaminophen)
I'm well familliar with the dangers and limits of acetaminophen. My friends call me a pharmacist because I know so much about pharmacology.
- 2 Celebrex, 200mg each.
- 3 Lorazepams, 1mg each. Heh, I just LOVE this stuff, it's so great for calming the detoxing. Warning to others though; benzodiazepines (like ativan) are extremely addictive; some say even moreso than opiates.
- 1 Concerta, which is a slow-release methylphenidate (the stuff in Ritalin).
- 1 Dexadrine (Dextro-Amphetamine), 5mg.


I normally wouldn't have taken so much of those, but I have such horrible withdrawals from having no oxy. I can't refill it for 2 weeks yet, so I see it as an opportunity to get my tolerance down and my addiction kicked. Normally I'd be poppin' lots of percocets and oxycontins, and have a lot less of the stuff mentioned above.

rite now im on X tho i take em with beer n kush. i like to take them n clean tha fuck outta my room cause since i smoke a lot it can get dirty so once n a while i pop a E n get some shit done, other than that bud iz tha best way to go bro oxys will get ya nowere fast

I used to pop adderalls, but they were prescribed.... I just took too many, and E, hope that counts!

never really popped oc's just snorted them. but that was a long time ago

for tremendous pain, there is nothing as good as an oc. but way too addictive, and withdrawals i can do without. ill stick to my weed

I've popped ritalin before. I first used it in my sophmore year a few weeks before the finals.

I've had many times with strong pills. Not oc's, but all the percs and hydros you can imagine. It's easy for me to love the stuff. What's weird is that, these days, after a few days-week of them I start getting quick tempered. This never happened in the past- just now. I recall taking them for months and months straight. When I ran out of my scripts I'd buy them on-line. Dangerous and stupid, but I did.

It's never good to get hooked on anything. I am extremely compassionate about your constant pain, though. I've lived with it- and have a close friend who totally screwed up his ankle years ago and lives on percs and patches. I do not envy him. "Be careful what you wish for". Seriously.

Have you tried cooking with weed? What about a tincture? Perhpas a good stong eaten or swallowed dose would help. I sure hope so.

The only pills ive taken were hydros, percicits and oxy once.

I don't do them often, I'll do one or two or something two days in arrow at most. Gone a little over that, but I have never had a problem w/ just not grabbing another pill.

On a OC 30 at the moment and some ganja, haven't puffed at all or done anything since last night, feels good. Going through little stress and whatnot so decided to do one. Actually, it's been awhile so I only took half, and am gonna take the rest in a lil.

I used to pop vics like breathmints when I was in highschool. Now I only take percs when my shoulder is unbearable. Never oc's, I watched an episode of True Life about it and it scared the shit out of me.

I just take my Adderall. There's no set amount on how much I take a day.
I just take how much I feel like taking.
Like the other day, I only took two 10mg tablets. And today I took 6. New Years; I took 10 (bad crash).

I forgot to state why.
The reason I take more than recommended is because I'd just be too depressed if I didn't.
Way too depressed.

Oh, and smoking weed after taking Adderall is pretty kick ass. It makes me virtually painless. Physically, mentally and emotionally.

I take pretty small doses of oxycontin & percocet every day, for chronic pain (no, no, not pain from the Chronic!).
Sometimes I'll "save up" by short-dosing for a few days, and then do like 4x my usual dose. Makes for a very "relaxed" evening, especially when combined with good weed.
Back in the day, a buddy of mine had a brother who worked in a pharmaceutical warehouse. This was when speed was still being prescribed as a "diet" pill, so they had shitloads in the warehouse, and he used to steal mass quantities. I quite enjoyed popping prescription Dexedrine for a year or so.

I take klopin, dilantin, and a anti-convalescent that I cant pronounce much less spell. I dont use the klonip all the time so on occasion I will pop more than Im supposed to when Im out of weed. Its a nice calm relaxed feeling. Im prescribed all of these for epilepsy. Never take any pain meds as Im allergic to most ALL of them.
