oh and gandalf, maybe you've had more experience with heroin than me, but i hear that the fact that people shoot heroin makes it all the more addictive. its a quick rush unlike taking an oxy. never had it, but i just don't want you to go out and assume its no worse. but ignore me if you know otherwise, just looking out for my fellow stoners.

methadone is crazy addictive i've heard...i blew one once and absolutely loved it (my nose didnt though, it bled). it was like 7 percocets for 12 hours

so true. any time anyone mentions acid i get so excited i have to say something lol. in the right mindset nothing is better. period.

i have yet to try acid but ive been wanting to, for my first time would it be ok to do it with like 2 other friends?

I gotta friend who can hook you up with some heroin lol.

are you serious? i havent tripped in a year and only rolled over one weekend. i have no interest in doing either one again unless the timing is just right.

i'm quite content with my life and acid actually pulled me out of a pretty serious depression involving poly drug use... i wish you didnt have to give such negative vibes.

i admit both can be damaging, especially mdma but LSD is one of the least toxic substances on earth. and it didnt drive me crazy so if it won't hurt me, get me addicted, or drive me crazy why not do it occasionally. it actually made me happier and not because i am addicted to it and take it all the time.

if your uninformed don't point fingers. plus i think the term junkie is usually used with heroin addicts, but i guess you can be creative with it...

...man but what a bummer. drug war propaganda is working too well

unless of course your kidding, which i hope you are. and like i said this is just my experience, i know kids who have fucked up their brains from doing too much of a good thing.


oh yea and i'm in college doing quite well. i spend several hours a day on homework, work out daily, watch little tv, read and in a few years will have a business degree.

but still, are you serious?

Smythie, I'm with you on this one man. It's all about "know your stuff, know your source, know yourself." Everyone is different and many people do very well using whatever kind of substance they want, because their personality will allow for it. I personally, could not. I have a compulsive personality, I know that. Smythie probably knows his personality as well, years of experimenting will give you more insight than the average bear. . .

yea if your very comfortable with them. you may say strange things or repeat yourself alot and as long as you know your friends won't judge you on it you'll be fine.

but because of the negative response to one of my postings i better clear things up. don't do it if you have a family history of mental problems or are not completely satisfied with your life. don't do it frequently either, once or twice a year is probably a safe bet.

i've known like 20 people who have tripped, and only one of them didnt come down for a month but he inadvertently took 20 hits thinking it was 10. i would suggest one to start with, then take 2 or 3 if you think you can handle it but remember it takes sometimes 1 to 2 hours to peak.

careful though, you don't want to become "addicted" to one of the few drugs that is virtually impossible to get addicted to (even more so than pot). i still can't believe that post, she made me feel like an evil person . i feel as if i'm a pretty empathetic, hard working guy but what do i know; one shouldnt judge themself

i was going to do with 2 of my close friends so i dont have to worry about that, i would only do it every once in a while like ya said. if i was givin money to buy drugs i would buy weed over anything else, if i do somethings else its just occasional, and i dont do anything addictive or harmfull, i also think im responsible with my drug use so i think i can handle acid and other things. sorry, if i rambled on im a little high lol

before i dosed (like the months and maybe years leading up) i only really got enjoyment out of drugs. afterwords it opened up a new world of enjoyment, the enjoyment i found before i had ever gotten into it. i suppose the bliss of a child, because it reminded me of simple pleasure of being a kid.

now just looking at the streetlights while i drive at night and listen to phish is incredible. playing games is now incredible like it was when i was younger. same with most things, including taking walks without music or a purpose which i actually never enjoyed before.

hell, i've even enjoyed my homework lately lol

How you behave is going to be totally dependent on your personality. You might like to eat a bit before hand. I've not been able to eat well when the psychedelics are going full speed.

im pretty mellow, i think im responsible, ive been told by many im nice, i never like to fight anyway about anything, i dont judge people like others, i like to get to know people, i can be almost anybodys friend. i like to keep an open mind

if you've never done it you should be prepared for anything. you'll probably not be too loud, but if you asking because you don't want to wake parents or someone that might look down on it or be a buzz kill you probably shouldnt.

i'm looking forward to doing it in a few weeks when i have my parents house to myself. just me and my girlfriend. i've heard of people unplugging phones and such too.

you really don't want any chance of anything going wrong IMO. I never felt the slightest bit scared or paranoid. except when my friend got stuck in a mind loop for a few hours and could only say "it just keeps going back to the '60s perspective" over and over again, but that would freak anyone out because me and my gf were considering calling the loony bin. he was fine though the next day completely, and he took 4 hits of sugar cubes and i only had 2 1/2. even with all that though he just sat in one place with a goofy smile on his face and knew that he shouldnt go wandering the halls of our dorm. apparently he went on a trip through supressed memories. it was like hanging out with an extremely well behaved autistic kid lol. i'm pretty sure they were double hits, although we didn't know at the time.

^the point of me telling you that though is that the entire time he was doing this neither me or my gf freaked out. at one point i had a few butterflies because i was knew with acid and didn't know what to expect, but we still had a great time.

my trips were great, but i never had to worry about an authority figure when i did it.

i'll stop with my life story though, i tend to want to say everything on my mind

that sounds like a good mind set. For me anyways, it just made me MORE empathetic and nice to others.
