My boyfriend and Guitar Hero really introduced Tool to me. Took me a while, but right now it is all I am listening too. I have all of their albums, and rock to them a little bit every single day. I have looked at some of their artwork as well, and it is just amazing. The drugs make these guys amazingly creative.

I've been through some very unique things in my life. . . Come very close to doing some very terrible things as well. The lyrics of their music were enigmatic enough to take my very potent attention away from some things that would have ended very badly. I instead focused on what was being said and why. This is not saying that they do have some hidden message or agenda, just the fact that they are so talented and commit to their music in a way I'm yet to hear from anyone else, that I was able to pull away from tragedy, to focus on mystery instead. Not to mention the fact that I feel downright immortal when I listen to them. . . DO NOT FUCK WITH ME WHEN I'M LISTENING TO TOOL. . . Good shit though, fer serious.

yeah man i know what you mean, i really enjoy reading their lyrics and interpreting their music for deeper meanings, it's like philosophy/spirituality/emotion converted to sonic waves, i feel the exact same way, i have yet to find a band more emotionally deep and thought out, as we've said some great stuff.

i fuckin love tool. their lyrics are amazing and inspire alot of my art work. im also gettin into A Perfect Circle. considering maynard is the lead singer for A Perfect Circle as well as Tool, they both have good shit. i just did a drawing i titled "Dehumanization" inspired from the song "Annihilation" from their album Emotive.
