I luv The Cramps !!! They were freakin insane ... I never saw them in live, but they were part of that 70s CBGBs punk crowd ..

not really sure if these guys are popular or even known in the states but in Ireland
....we feckin LOVE them...

Rodrigo Sanchez and Gabriela Quintero met as teenagers in Mexico city. They both
failed the entrance into The National Conservatory and ended up playing the roughest
clubs and living off day jobs...Gabriela teaching Metallica rifts to local kids and
Rodrigo doing music for programs in a tv station. They recorded an album and then
wouldn't sign the contract....They decided they might have better luck in Europe.

They live in Dublin now, fulltime. After arriving here in 1999 with $1000cash between
them...busking on the streets of Dublin....playing support for Damien Rice...and earning
a huge reputation and fanbase...they're album entered the Irish Album charts at No.1

I can't get through a Jim Croce song without tearing up a little ... I never saw him in concert ... he died in a smalll plane crash when I was 16 ... but I did visit the jazz bar that his wife opened in San Diego, as a tribute to him. He wrote "Time in a Bottle" as a tribure to his newborn son.
